To clear up the "Symbiote god" it's really dark and metal. Knull is a being who predates the universe. He dwelled in the darkness and when the Celestials began creating light, stars, etc, Knull created the Klyntar as a means to wipe out everything living and bright in order to return the universe to its original darkness. The first thing he did was decapitate a Celestial with it (these primordial symbiotes are pretty much god level). Before Venom, the symbiotes never needed a host. When Knull controlled them they were capable of acting on their own many of them taking the form of giant black dragons. Eventually the symbiotes turn on him and imprison him inside a planet sized cage that many previously thought was the Symbiote homeworld. Now he's free and in December there's a BIG event called King in Black where Venom, the Avengers, Spider Man, X Men, etc. get ready to fight Knull and his hoarde. Hope you found it interesting

The Thor ones technically introduced Knull but we didn't know who he was until years later but it does include an ancient symbiote like weapon that's later to be revealed was created by Knull.

Small detail I love, venoms weaknesses to fire and sound make absolutely perfect sense Theoretically, venoms symbiotic cells are highly moldable, allowing for the shapeshifting and all that, a natural downside of this would be that each individual cell is weaker in general as a result to all the constant changing, basically each cell is naturally squishier Fire would be able to burn using each individual cell, and the fire, feeding off those cells, would be able to outpace the symbiotes regeneration, which is a horrifying mental picture to imagine The sound one is reasonably understandable, because each cell is individually weak, it's easier to rupture and disrupt, tearing apart, and sound hits at very miniature levels, think how small earbones are and all that junk Basically, fire burning outpaces the Regen no matter how fast, and sound literally blows the individual cells apart or straight up ruptures them entirely

Oh, and regarding the "logarithmic" thing they mention . . . while I don't know the exact multiplier for decibels, exactly, I know the Richter scale, which measures earthquakes, is logarithmic base 10.
