Fun fact dc recently made a comic where darkseid fights a thanos stand in, to which darkseid insults him as a copy of his past (which thanos was a copy of darkseid) and then killed the thanos stand in by SNAPPING his neck right after saying he could never even hope to defeat him

@@naeemislam1105 it's not a lie. DC make a thanos of their own that darkseid kills. Its obviously not the actual one but they make it clear the point. It's all after the last event when darkseid got his horns.

@@gageunruh3574 Thanos is an evil being, whereas Darkseid is the embodiment of evil himself. So Thanos can never defeat Darkseid . In order to do so. Thanos have to change his personality completely and turn into a good guy😎

So interesting facts, Jack Kirby was a famous comic artist and writer. He was the guy who worked with Stan Lee to create pretty much everybody in the marvel universe except Spider-Man and Doctor strange. He had a very rocky relationship with Marvel and eventually left to DC and decided to use an idea he was going to put in marvel, which was the fourth world and the new gods, including darkseid. So we almost had darkseid in the Marvel Universe instead of Thanos. Imagine that movie, Avengers: Anti-Life. XD

It's not like Thanos could have done shit even if Infinity Gauntlet worked in the dimension Darksied actually was. He pretty much surpassed the Gauntlet by a huge margin at that point.

It's lowkey a crime you don't know darkseid, he is effectively superman's worst enemy, tied with lex luthor tbqh..... Lex has LEGITIMATELY HELPED SUPERMAN with dealing with darksied in some instances. THAT is how much of a threat he usually is; mind you, half of those team ups it was just lex using the situation to his advantage, but still. Lol. Darkseid is generally speaking the biggest reoccurring threat to the DC universe heros. Not always *THE* biggest, but surely the most reoccurring big bad threat... Lol.

always thought darkseid was waaay better character and his entire mythos with the new gods etc.......the mcu and disney certainly raised thanos profile but outside of that thanos was always lesser he had some apperances in marvel games but dude especially back in the day was just ok to me even in infinity gauntlet.
