This is how Mettaton EX is supposed to be in my opinion, or how Toby Fox attended Mettaton EX to be. Masculine, sophisticated, and handsome! I really dislike when people make Mettaton EX feminine, give him cat stockings, and a dress. I know thats their own interpretation of Mettaton EX, but it's so not his character! I mean compare feminine Mettaton EX with the in game Mettaton EX. They act differently, look different, and the personality doesn't fit in my opinion! And now compare Gooseworkz's handsome star, with the in game Mettaton EX! What's this? The personality fits?! That's awesome! You see, when you're trying too use the same character from a game, movie, and ETC, you don't have to use the same art style, but atleast make the character accurate. This is a huge problem for head canons, and fan made stories, ETC! Like for example, Papyrus is supposed to be Kind, Trustworthy, Smart, and Desperate to be in the Royal Guard! But fans often make him a dim-witted, goofy, and only eats spaghetti! Also, many people tend to forget that Mettaton used to be a box, or a square calculator thing that's supposed to be your stereotypical male star host in a TV show, and Mettaton EX is supposed to be based off some male anime characters, like how Alphys made him. That's also some evidence that Mettaton EX is supposed to be masculine. UPDATE I'm also here to express on why I don't like it when SJW Tumblr dwellers make up silly genders, personalities, and sexualities for the Undertale cast just for the hell of being a "SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE". Making your characters feminine, or masculine, giving them an odd gender, or sexuality doesn't automatically make them good, unique, or relavent. In fact, when you edit a character's personality, most of the time you're taking away some useful features, and things that actually make them likable, and special. People on the internet don't actually give a shit if a character sexually identifies as an "Non Binary", and all those other made up genders, or when your character is attracted to all those made up genders, so what's the point of wasting your time giving the whole Undertale cast some odd genders, and sexualities. Please embrace what the characters are already.
