I, unexpectedly based on my first impressions, love this album. But on an unrelated note, @DIFFUS - it's one thing have typos in copy for web articles, but having misspellings in transitio title cards IN your video is.... embarrassing, I'd have to think. Someone proof-read those, pretty please.

I couldn't help but laugh a little when he said that to. I mean, a favorite pastime of mine is searching KZbin for his live acoustic/piano renditions. I like most of them just as much, if not more than the studio versions. But I don't think he meant *acoustic* in the literal sense. He was talking about bands getting lazy, or tired, or just too embarrassed to be 40/50/60+ playing the same type of music they played back when they were 20. He also spoke about being true to yourself, and, IMO at least, slow/acoustic definitely has a place on Death Cab For Cutie albums. Each of their albums has a different sound, but at the same time you can listen to each of them and say, "This is definitely Death Cab" and not "WTF is this?"

Death cab is consistent and that gets harder the longer you go.pearl jam has been consistent, coldplay too,they are up there with them in my opinion.oh and maroon five for a newer group.

1st know, huge DCFC lover here... Ben bad camera angle why is the camera so high? also, please Change your hair it's been like this too long & starting to look so dated. Believe it or not i'm not a superficial person, i def value substance over surface but sometimes i feel the surface stuff is shooting you in the foot & getting in the way of the substance (of which you have overflowing amount). An "image" person might not be a bad idea even if it's just a friend with common sense who's good at these things & can give suggestions. I know you don't like stuff forced at you (who does?) but you might like some of the results! thanks for the great music, you are a TOP band of all time i put you in same category as BEATLES, R.E.M. that's a small category for me. :)
