They can't even finish the dino gameplay yet, because they have too many ppl focusing on human concepts and buildings when they could all be working on dinos to make progress faster. Human gameplay being 100 times more complex will take them forever to complete if they ever complete their gameplay.

@@yukiiasakii9758it’s because they are trying to have shit in the game that would need be a big server like mmorpgs like new world and such. They lack the server infrastructure to do this. This is not might to run on private servers. Nor is it a simple game like rust and such with low population. I am sure the servers would run fine if it was capped to 50 or so players but at that point I would take a game with an art style that’s easy to run and is simple if that would mean 200 to 300 people per server.

@@kade-qt1zu Let's see. Beasts of Bermuda is an extremely niche game due to the mechanics and the overall look of the game. It has also a really small dev team with currently questionable amount of money to keep develop it. Currently I enjoy BoB the most tho, still it's not an actual competition. Path of Titans is basically the game of an ex isle coder. It's not a bad game but lacks deep mechanics, lacks polish and it will take 200 years to be finished, just like the Isle and BoB. There is no real competition in this genre, none. If there would be an actual talented and medium sized dev team, all of these projects would be dead by now.

Personally, I think PoT will come out on top. The most recent update has had more issues (mostly visual w/ worse animations) than usual, but typically speaking the game is quite high quality. Once mechanics and polishing come around, it’ll be top tier. Still by far the most visually stunning and optimized.

I’m concerned that adding all these complicated mechanics and not giving player’s opportunity to learn the game at a relative pace might hurt the games progress. The only animal I’m able to play on is ptera because I’m in the air, able to navigate, and safe from crazy land players. But on land there’s no time to learn the game when your too busy stressing over surviving and crazy kos cannibal players. There’s not a lot of opportunity to find community, safety, or fun in this game right now. It’s just horror and harsh survival that gets boring and lonely and stressful fast

i love u but as soon as i started playing things got buggy. i started a new croc and 1st i smelled food on land so i went sniffing after it only to find there was nothing there. i could smell food but there was just nothing. so then i went back to the water and found a dead croc on the bottom of the water? i thought they were ment to float up? anyway i went to grab some food and it kinda looked like i grabbed a bit but there was nothing in my mouth. then i noticed i was locked out of all controls except basic movement. i couldnt attack or eat or drink or even use any calls so i had to log.
