My mother had a story to tell. This happened in the early 1930s. A good friend of my grandmother was dying. My grandma held her hand all the way to the end -Right before she passed she said out loud ; it’s beautiful!!! It’s beautiful!!!!! Then she left this world. I’ve always loved this story.

My dad was lying in a coma with zero chance of survival. I sat at his bedside waiting for the end. He was for all intense and purposes gone, but he hadn't shut down yet. I said to him, "Hey dad, I know you don't believe in this stuff, but everybody gets to go to heaven." After 6 days of no signs of life, he smiled as if to say, "yeah, I know." It was a wonderful moment for me, and he knew it was.

Since I was a child I was told I was a devil and I fulfilled that prediction to the best of my ability. I seriously felt like I had stolen someone else’s body and was living a lie. I never killed anyone because there was a boundary I wouldn’t cross. But everything else was fair game. When I was 45 I had an NDE, how is neither here or there but I was aware that I was dying and I was praying that there wasn’t going to be a judgment and I would just cease to exist. No chance!! I was standing in blackness that I could see through and I could see forever. I felt him come up behind me , he was authority and I knew who he was. It was my creator and I steadied myself for the blast into hell I was always told I was going to. I was still in human consciousness, I was thinking and aware of how I thought as a human. I felt his amusement at how I was terrified and I heard him say without hearing him physically “ Let me show you how I look at you” . I felt like I became a cocoon and was forced to look only in one direction. I then saw “ ME “ as I was on earth and my life and how I was living it. I also saw my soul and they were connected together but were separated. But the most amazing thing I saw was how much my creator loved me and how proud he was of me and how excited he was that I existed. I can’t go on any further but I can tell you I’m proud to have the opportunity to be. I’m exceptionally proud of who and what I am. Love you all.

Counterpoint: Her near death experience turned her somewhat nihilistic. If everyone had her experience, how would anything ever get done? Why accomplish anything, when you could simply be? Why get married and raise a family, when you could just enjoy your own private sense experiences? You could never build or do anything really great, because you wouldn't believe that anything was great or worth striving for.

We actually are having this experience through them that had it because we share the same consciousness, we are one and therefore should accept their experience as ours. We are all here for different lessons but most important of them all is LOVE

Possibly in the future as NDE can be reproduced under controlled lab conditions, this could become a tool used by law enforcement to address criminals and this could change their entire perception on life and turn them into useful members of society

I do want to say, first, that the Interviewer is the embodiment of how I wish all Interviewers were: so gracious., calm, listened so carefully, never interrupting this woman's chain of thought and showed a real warmth toward both this woman and what she had to tell us. It was a beautiful story and the interview was handled with so much respect. Her story is unique--and I will think about it for a long time. Thank you, to all who were involved in presenting this special program. And my kindest regards to Barbara Hauter--her happiness just radiates! :-)

I worked with many comatose patients as a Program Director for traumatic brain injury for decades who had all experienced coma for varing lengths of time and many of my patients would come back and say they were surfing in Hawaii or something that sounded crazy to others. I was very involved in the afterlife even at the time in the 1970s, however I thought these stories were perhaps just astral travel, out of body experiences, "dreams". This was long before ndes were known. As some of these patients came out of the comatose state but we're still considered medically in a lower level of consciousness and again I say medically (too much to go into in this notation) I found that many of them were very psychic- one patient could even see my father who was deceased standing behind me and explained him perfectly and I didn't even know he had just passed- the patient who I was working with saw him at the exact moment of his death three time zones away, that in itself is amazing and an indication of increased sensitivity that can be experienced in varying levels of consciousness.

You are a Spirit with a Consciousness. Scientists are now coming to this awareness. We are coming to the Truth in this Materialistic world of Ours. I hope you come to a belief in God! Who is Love! The Unique Person you are Alan was created in Love! By The Great I Am! He is the Light! God Bless You. Thanks for these True Stories Truly Wonderful

It was amazing seeing the actions as empty actions .. realized that people are in our lives that God has entrusted to our care. I believe in change. Not whom my human situation around but more like life before was a spectacular sport . To be precious presence. To hear others are not saying.. love matters .. we are Loved by God and thus we can be genuinely grateful for every moment..

@@samithegreat7840 yes Sally, and I remember many of my past life's which not one would I ever want to relive! I was 4 years old playing with a little ball in my dad's tv shop, and stopped in front of a wall mirror and saw myself and Remembered!!! I was so Angry that I was back, and standing there looking at my tiny body, yet having a fully conscious mind and awareness of everything, and I spoke out loud into the mirror to hear my child voice, and said NO! I had awareness since I was 6 months old, but didn't put it together until that day. My poor mom was literally scared of me at times because I would tell her things just before they happened. My dad was fine with it, and then years later found out that he remembered too!

We become some part of what THEY want/expect us to be and we're NOT. Christianity, that was SHOVED down my hole and it was Believe or ELSE! We are being spoken to/with a very loving, family like entity that is finally able to get to us without RELIGION interfering with this reality! Who out there really thinks SATAN or The Devil is behind this? HECK NO IT'S NOT! Take back your lives that YOU were meant to live and not someone else TELLING you how you should LIVE! -Just saying

I have never had a NDE but have had several OBE. During OBE I sometimes have found myself in a Art Museum where I examine classical paintings in detail. They are the real thing. I question is this objective or subjective reality. I think my God, if I can create these things with my mind what could I become if I could harness this and be the worlds greatest painter.

Thank you very much for willing to share. Not easy for society to understand because not everyone found themself in the true sense. For the one that do is their time to realize self. Meditation is pretty good optunity to see others realities and your own soul. Meditaters normally have plenty of mystic stories. Unfortunately not many are shared. Ingenerally one only can begin to understand this nature when the mind is quiet or NDE.

A well meaning lady, but it sounds like the experience was a vehicle for resolving certain unconscious tensions in her life (attracted to women, not completely satisfied with the conventional life of money and success etc). So we are here one earth to suffer as well as to enjoy? Why?? No sensible answers given. Why would any sensible being deliberately seek out horrible experience. Makes NO sense.

I know, I hear ya! I deplore the suffering, injustices ... for others especially, as I have a pretty decent life ... just waiting to get hit with Cancer, as 40% are doomed ! Hey God, is that nice ...!?!?

I always hear people talking about meditating but most of us (including myself) haven't been taught how to meditate.

Plenty of videos on youtube. Try it out! I think a lot of people quit because they don't feel they have done it correctly, or they find it boring. The thing is, it's a practice of focusing your mind. Starting small, may be doing 5 minutes a day, is a solid meditation practice.

Yes. I had one experience while doing TM meditation where I became all and nothing at the same time. Everything was black, nothingness but a consciousness of peace and no time/space. That was many years ago but it affected me deeply. More recently I was doing a breathing, pineal gland meditation. The energy shook my whole body and a bright, white light was swirling around in my head. I felt waves of heat and energy going through my body. It tipped me over from a seated position but I hadn't noticed at the time. I didn't even know what was happening but I felt a magical bliss for hours afterwards. Still, I feel lost and sad now and just want to go home. All the best Swamiji.

At one point she states the gift she had gotten. The gift of having no fear anymore. Later, around 22:00 she expresses that she was afraid to admit to the outside world that she was attracted to women. Because she was afraid to be rejected by society and lose the social connections. So, there are a lot of nuances. People can say the one thing but not be aware that they are contradicting by saying or doing the other.

If you are a cosmic consciousness then the consciousness you're talking about is just a tip of an iceberg and your ego is its centre. Our brains are like consciousness reducers. Rather than produce it they reduce it.

She says life is too short and too important. But earlier on she had said that it was very difficult for her to make the desicion to go back to her earthly body again because she was living so intensely and she felt so nice in the other life. So I don't understand why would she mind if life is too short since the other life is so much better?
