All of the interviews I do are free. I have written 9 books that have never made a profit over and above the many many hours (usually takes at least a year or one took 5) I dedicate to writing them. All of my "profits" are spiritual. I have grown tremendously and now enjoy a life that is authentic. I serve Spirit in any way I am guided and I usually don't get "paid" in material profits. Have you ever taken brain altering drugs? Hallucinogenics? If you have, you’d know that the subconscious mind directly influences what is seen and experienced. Yet all atheists with NDEs have experienced things that contradict their world view, this simply wouldn’t happen with mere hallucinations. If you read up on psychedelic trip reports or even experience a trip yourself, the **first** thing you’ll notice is the sheer variety of the experiences, and it’s very very clear that that person’s mind was influencing their trip. Yet with NDEs what is quite unique to them is just how similar they are and common in theme *regardless of* the individual’s world view.
@classickruzer14 жыл бұрын
@@adamdownes4725 There is a difference between psychedelic experiences and N D E experiences. The psychedelic experiences introduce chemicals into the brain that alters it's state, while the N D E's deprive the brain of blood and oxygen which alters it's state. The comparison is the fact that both alter the brain... As far as atheists, whether their world views are similar to mainstream society or not, their entire lives have been influenced negatively or positively by mainstream society since they have existed within it their entire lives. Generally, all our brains function in like manner, therefore, when it is deprived of it's necessary essentials in order to maintain itself in a normal manner, similarities would be a normal result.. Not one of these people or any other person on the planet can prove that any person ever went to heaven or hell or anywhere else other than earth.. Therefore, they have ZERO merit..

My husband and I are both recovering Atheists from around age 40 and 32. He "woke up" through years of meditation and finally experiencing that there was a power greater than him -- through prayer. I obviously woke up to a higher power through my NDE and numerous other spiritual experiences throughout my life. Most of the time I don't use the word God or Higher Power. I believe in Love. The love that is between me and my family, friends and the world is the Universal action for and of God. I just focus on Love. I talk to and listen for love. So we don't have to believe in anything -- we just need to Love because we are human. And if you or I don't have anyone in our lives to love -- we can volunteer at a soup kitchen or a nursing home or even at the local library -- and give love through our eyes to people who need that kind of love. Hope this helps!

I had gone to a movie in my hometown that evening and was not supposed to be home in about 4 hours so after feeling ill I walked home and laid down and became very sick and by the time my mother came home she realized I needed help so a doctor was called, this was almost 70 years ago when doctors made house calls. I was unaware of the time but at a point, I was looking down on my self and my mother wiping my body with a washrag I didn't understand it. I was near the ceiling and a light shining through the corner of the ceiling. It felt so inviting so my spirit floated toward the swirl of light. I saw shadows but I couldn't see faces. I wanted to go into the light but was turned around by a force and realized I loved my mother too much to leave so the next thing I recalled was lying on the cot with my mom a few feet away and crying as I woke. I never told her or anyone about my experience as being so young I had no idea what had happen to me.

Thank Heavens so many are here helping explain these amazing experiences. I have had NDEs & it’s been at times a struggle because I have been ridiculed and called deranged & even physically && emotionally abused by those I love and hoped could help after I came back into my own body. I do not wish physical or emotional trauma on those who have harmed me, in the moments that I center in the Bliss that I felt & still feel when I center in that space. It is hard when you are being violated and facing violent opposition to your own efforts of sharing your Bliss. And at times, reacting instead of responding, which only helps the chaos versus the calm expand, yet I find it so wonderful that I am not alone in this & that I am able to see others respected and cherished for their own contributions here on earth, because I feel reassured that it’s ok to share my experiences & that it’s ok to have had my experiences as well. I shrunk in & stopped sharing for a long time to protect my family from being bullied as I was, yet I am starting to fully understand that my excitement for the amazing experiences I had, are valid and are stable. I had some extended family try to institutionalize me for speaking about my own NDEs, which saddens me that they are so far from the Light that I’ve been honored to be a part of. They are also a part of the Light. I can forgive them & pray they find the peace that comes with that. I can let go of the turmoil they have caused me in their own turmoil & move on. Thanks so much for your research, because it helps those of us who felt so isolated in the past. My husband & our sons all understand the Heavens exist. Some do not, and while their skepticism is fine as they are on their own paths, I pray less people will bully those who do have such amazing experiences in the future. ✨🕊💖🙏🏼✨

My heart is singing! Barbara, and all other NDE'ers have so incredibly helped me in my spiritual journey. I wasn't so much afraid of death, but mostly afraid of disappointing God, as well of fears of spiritual beings due to bad experiences a long time ago. I read at least one NDE a day as part of my prayer and meditation regiment. I KNOW the breath of God that resides in my heart, around my body, and in every soul I see. I feel like I finally live in 3D, or maybe 4D! or 5D!! Haha!

The night my friend passed a being that looked entirely human appeared twice in my bedroom both times for about 30 seconds, he materialised from what started as a fuzzy ball of orangey beige light. I could see this being from his chest upward and he was robed with a part of it chucked over his right shoulder . He had mid brown wiry hair that was pulled back and extremely light brown eyes that looked almost orange. He had a very wispy gappy beard which strangely was cut shorter by far on the right side of his chin. The being was just staring with a concerned look and dematerialised very quickly after around 30 seconds of appearing. Around 40 minutes later he rematerialised again and was staring at me again but looked less concerned again for round 30 seconds then faded to nothing. The being did not look like he was in my room which was dark but looked as though he was looking in through a window in his own domain as i could see a sky behind him and even wispy cloud. This being had an extremely close resemblance to actor Bruce Weitz and could easily pass for a twin brother if he was human. Next day i knock on my friends room door there was no answer so i opened the door to see him expired.

I had a near death experience and when in the presence of God...there was an orange light to his right that I believe was the spirit of what Christians call Jesus...That is not what God calls him. But his spirit glows orange like a sunset or the glow of a Bonfire. On Gods Left is a blue orb ..I say orb because the orange light is firey and the blue light is a light blue glow that is very contained and almost oval in shape like an egg. It is light blue and radiates a comforting glow.

What an amazing experience. My friend died and met Jesus ( Sheila Shaw nde part 1 ) and she didnt want to listen to other NDE-ers for fear of mixing their experiences in with hers (she had suffered a little brain damage). I love how she was careful not to implant her experiences in with theirs, etc. Thank you for sharing such wonderful wisdom. I am so grateful!

I've had a NDE and have talked about it in therapy, which to me is very frightening to talk about. The one thing that I got from this experience is that my actual death was not painful. I just was here panicking with everything that was happening to me (I bled out) I knew something awful was happening because I saw the panic in the nurses and doctors eyes and they kept telling me to hold on. That's the part of my memory that scares me the most. Very suddenly, I was sitting up and the room was all white and cloudy. I had no pain. My Dad, who had passed, and his sister , who had passed, were in front of my bed with their hands out smiling at me to come with them. I was terrified because I knew they were dead. That's when I called on the name of Jesus and begged him to let me live to take care of my newborn twins. I woke up and was being transported to the OR. This is my very first time openly discussing this. I have a real problem trusting doctors because of this, because my death was the direct cause of my doctor leaving the afterbirth in me and it ruptured. I'm grateful that I'm alive. Also, I had never seen my aunt that came to me because she had died in WWII as a nurse, but I was in a conversation where I asked what she looked like and I was surprised to hear she looked like my sister, which is exactly what she looked like to me

Its entitled "Atheist reunites with her dead grandmother." And it's interesting to here how consistent our telling is 24 years later. Dr. Bruce Greyson found this over and over again in our telling with 100s of near-death experiencers. It can be 10, 20, 30 years later and the memories don't fade.

I just received this Mel Van Dusen, the man who interviewed me This interview has come at an important time for me. When the program aired on TV, my 96 year-old mother saw it and she commented, "I've been through that tunnel!". Our interview did that. When my mother was twenty, she was seriously ill in the hospital - with a combination of a broken back and "valley fever". She told me that she spent the whole night "near the ceiling, watching her body down on the bed".

I believe every word she says. If you are spiritually in tune and not subject to you own self inflated ego of doubt , you know who is real and who isnt. The reason i know shes telling the truth is because im empathic. When i know what she going to say before she says it and it rings true to my spirit, i know its the truth coming from source(god) that we are all connected to if we tap into it. Stay in contact with god through prayer , meditation and taking care of your temple(body). You will then begin to feel yourself unplug from the false 3d reality matrix, and expand behind what you believe is around you to be real is just illusion. All that will matter is love.

My hope for everyone who went into the light and experienced the love of our true family, will not only seek to understand death, but while we are here, we truly seek to know life. God is not the God of death, or of dieing. He is the God of the living, Christ told us to seek the kingdom first, that we may know who he is,and who we are, and where we came from. Some get saved only to be set free, but we are his children, a child will seek his or her, inheritance. To live in the kingdom now, to live like we are his children, we must come to him like a little child, learn a new way to walk and to live. Bless you all

Thank you so much Barbara for sharing your experience. I am one of those people who are not only very curious about the death experience but anxiously afraid of it as well. I have suffered with an anxiety disorder due to a side effect of medication and for the last 10 years have had numerous panic attacks and other extremely uncomfortable episodes. I have found that reading and listening to accounts of NDEs helps to alleviate some of my fears. I would love to be able to actually sit and talk in person to someone who has personal experience with and NDE. I have so many questions. I look forward to reading and listening to more from you.

About midway through I get it what she saying because I’m doing that now. Reading scripture and living in the moment and trusting God is everything to me. Asking him to be in charge and turning my thoughts over when they are negative or doubting I asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I then experience peace and tranquility and everything is OK no more stress no more anxiety or fear. He says delight yourself in me and I will grant you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37 four.
