One of my all-time favorite Death Grips songs. I love the 70's rock and psychedelic feel of it, plus the guitar riff in here is great. It's also one of their deepest and darkest songs, because it talks about him being fed up with the world and wanting to kill himself, but he won't because "friends and family won't understand," and at the same time implies that despite wanting to kill himself he's not actually going to try to, nor does he have any desire to try to kill himself anytime soon.

"I'm sick and tired of these perks. I've tried nothing; everything works." Nothing sums up my depression better than that. I feel like I have too many perks to have a right to complain about my life when others have it so much worse. Then everyone: my parents, my friends all tell me things like, "You just need to get over your fears and try to do things; it will get easier," or that I'm just being lazy or stuck, "In a rut," and sure, I'm sure it would all work, but it also all feels so hopeless and not even worth trying. It seems like most people associate depression with feeling sad all the time, but it's the hopeless inhibition which is quietly the worst part for me. When I first heard this song, I was pretty surprised. I'd never heard anyone else say so perfectly and succinctly how I feel.
@Jasonxrr

i love this style of rock similar to Queen, also love the lyrics, they relate to my suffering with depression up until April when my meds finally started kicking in. started listening to dg a few months ago, but ive known them since 2011, in my grandma's basement browsing music on youtube when i was 7, heard guillotine for the first time, got scared, then became an edgy memelord and heard only their most popular songs, then exmilitary popped up in my recommended, i listened to the whole thing in awe, and now i listen to this song every day, in triumph that i got over my depression.

"I'm fucking tired of all the perks. I've tried nothing, everything works." That really says it better than I can. I've got a good loving family and great friends, I've got a roof over my head, I'm going to a good school, I've got no diseases or injuries that will cripple me, no major hurtles to me living a decent, comfortable life. But none of it makes me happy, not long term anyways. I should feel grateful that I have it so good and that I have a guaranteed future, but I still feel depressed and unsatisfied.
