I know what u mean. Bad things went on but the programs still had some form of a moral compass. I remember the waltons, bonanza, threes a company. I did not feel this sense of hopelessness. And kids could watch it.

Hart to Hart was on air from 1979-1984. There were 5 seasons with approximately 22 episodes per season. I loved it when I watched it as a preteen . It came on tv late night prime. I had to watch it on my black and white screen tv with headphones 🎧 plugged into it because our family tv was turned off at 9 pm and we were all ordered to bed. .

Thanks so much for putting this up! It was a kick to see it. I just got the big Jeremy Brett box set of Granada's Sherlock Holmes and in it there's a little booklet. In one section Powers is mentioned: "Jeremy Brett made many friends beyond his Sherlock Holmes costars and coworkers. Among them was S. Powers, whom he met when he guest-starred on the popular American mystery series H2H. Powers remembered Brett to 'Scarlett Magazine' at the time of the actor's death, obliquely referring to the Brett's rarely mentioned bisexuality: "I am happy to be counted as one of Jeremy's friends - for indeed, I loved him, too. He was a prince - sometimes a princess - but always among the crowned heads of theater and film. Among his sterling performances was one of his best roles - that of friend. He was my cheerleader and I miss him more than I can say." I watched H2H as a kid and I was surprised that I had remembered almost the entire plot - even the Greek symbols on the car parts.

In the post, he said, to paraphrase, ‘Jill and I enjoyed visiting you in L.A. a few days ago.’ She divides her time between the United States, London(?) and Kenya. I loved the way they recycled the same actors/ actresses as different characters.. the blond lady played the role of a wife trying to poison her husband in season 2 I believe.. Jennifer overheard her phone conversation.. she was wearing a purple sandle with a flower on it

You are either forgetting or choosing to ignore that while Robert Wagner (not Wagoner) was married to Natalie, Stefanie Powers was in a romantic relationship with actor/conservationist William Holden (she STILL, 40+ years after his death, refers to him as her ‘soulmate’, and she wanted to have HIS baby, not Robert’s). And both Robert and Stefanie have said, more than once, ‘it was nothing more than luck that our then 20 years of friendship “translated” into believable romantic on-screen chemistry.’ ‘Everyone wants to be’ You live too much in a fantasy world. No REAL marriage is like that.
