Its a invasion of thugs in south beach us locals haven't been there in over 15 years.

How did Miami Beach, which I thought some 15 years ago would remain a "demographically-protected" area, due to undeniable homogeneous affluence, save for a few exceptions, become so OVERRUN with the THUG ILK, especially in and around South Beach? It sure as HELL didn't look like THAT when Gianni Versace fell in love with the area, nor when I DID, for that matter? Where did they all come from, Gadsden, Lantana and Lake Worth? There used to be unspoken rules, so to speak, to keep this area SAFE by DEMOGRAPHICS CONTROL. When did this all change, and how did affluent Floridians allow for it? We planned a trip to Miami Beach in December, aiming for North Miami Beach for obvious reasons, BUT if I can't find a demographically safe neighborhood to stay, where we can visit the beach, shop at the boutiques and enjoy upscale waterfront dining without having to encounter the CRIMINAL ELEMENT, we won't go! We live where we live, so that we DON'T have to put up with THUGGERY and the crap that comes with these people! I certainly have no intention of having to put up with these people while on vacation!

@@Luvie1980 I'm sorry, I've misplaced my English-WOKEY JOKEY Dictionary. I spoke the truth about the THUG element, yet why do I have the feeling that "WS" doesn't stand for "Wonderful Superstar?" Just because someone has the courage to speak the truth, and the fact of that matter portrays a sector of society in a deservedly negative light, WHY does that make the speaker of truth, a "WS?" You need to rethink that. The thugs terrorizing the streets of Miami, would never be mistaken for me or mine, nor vice versa. When is the mainstream majority going to stop being too afraid to call a spade a spade? How will any type of "meaningful dialogue" ever take place, in order to put an end to it? Something else to think about.....

Something is obviously hauntingly attractive to the spot. It is haunting that we are attracted of the spot by death again. Not a major issue. But a reoccurring issue. Surely good for tourist revenue? Any interest attracted in booking a stay? Something may be haunting about the place?
