Ngl it's always stuck in my head on how, should the girl not fall to her death due to her carelessness could live a happy life with the painter journeying around the world and not just being an item that's going to be thrown away after they've gotten what they want from her(like how the old dude dragged her lifeless body and forced the painter to paint her)

Nothing I've been shown in this short of a time beats the building up dread that comes when she opens that window "Wait, wasn't she supposed to be afraid of his pictures and be pushed to suicide... NO, NONONONO" This is one damn good tragedy, the sudden realization that none of this was on purpose after the vengeful nature we're presented throughout and the slow, almost still pace at which it unravels the situation is heartwrenching

As much as i feel bad for the girl, i feel sadness for that old painter who simply wished to replicate her late sister into the painting made from the girl he adopted. I like to think that in the end, the old painter was just lonely and wanted to hold on to her late sister's sweet memories. He spent last of his days remembering the days he spent with her... He missed her beloved sister so much that it was unbearable, every now and then, random memories would rush him making his chest suffer a mild acche. Near the end of his life, he must have hoped to join her sister in the afterlife... Edit: Please help i am depressed.

So to sum this up the sister.. of the old man had died the bird but it flew away from its cage explains why the girl needs a pet... it wasn't eaten by the cat, it flew in the brach and she the sister tried to catch it but she fell into the window.. and its sunset..it was also said that the maids pick the sister and put her in the bed explains the stains on the bed.. in a room that room with mirror and windows thats the sister's room and we also had the task to find a blue box right that was under the bed... Of the sister and u can see it in the girls painting,.. in the our bedroom ( the one guy that we played ) u can see a painting there which a boy and a horse eating.. thats the old man and theres his sister too behind him with a umbrella explains the green umbrella too.. and theres angels thats holding a bow and others which is the garden.. and in the painting theres a bridge which goes to the flowerbed for the blue flower, the old man pick a spitting image like his sister, he wants a painting of them.. together but non can paint what he wants he wants the portrait to be exactly like his sister . Thats why so many failed.. and..;(( damn this shit long af 💀💀 theres so many things.. in the same . But at the end... When we gave her the seashell earing.. the oldman went angry.. 💀.. and this is her perspective..they also said something about her eyes.. too and she was a poxy.. to replace and resemble the old man's sister.. they also said something about her wanting to be in here room inthe dim dark 💀 this is long but damn that story hit diff

And that scenes when the credits rolled, it was from the girl in the painting's perspective isn't it? And the after credit scene and title screen made me emotional tho I don't quite understand why the painting is in the beach (who brought it there?

On day 6 the girl in the painting mentioned how she wanted to one day pick sea shells off of the beach, but since she's just a painting she couldn't really do that. So I imagine the player character brought her there to collect sea shells with her.

@@ahuman4 I doubt it. I think she was older than him(My headcanon is that the painter is a male). Maybe around the Renaissance era. She once said a lot of people try to paint her and most of them died. So I think the painter developed Stockholm syndrome and have a weird attachment on her.(Not in a bad way just pity on her)

It appears to be the original painter having a mental breakdown about what he was forced to paint-(the mangled body of the girl) and it’s the canvas’s perspective which is why it’s splattered over. The Canvas is splattered because the original painter couldn’t bear what he just witnessed and just decided to paint over to hide it.

If you look carefully , he didn't actually draw her when she was dying , he was just splashing all the paint on the canvas wrecklessly with anger and guilt as he thought that he was the reason for the little girl's death because his words might have hurt the girl too much which lead to her committing su***de 😔

The more thing that made me sad that she had this tragedy and then through the game I've seen saying that when she died her neck hand and legs were broken twisted the bed was soaked with blood but the painter still drawn her 😢
