I've played this game for over 15 hours, and I get so frustrated everytime I die, I don't know how to even reach halfway there, maybe I suck at this game? I always pick the 20% extra condition repair, because its nice to pay less for repairs, but then that would mean I'd be lacking in any other fields such as mobility/gadgets/weapon and most importantly scrap, some of the cars are difficult to use, some have too little handling/turn points. So far I'd have to say the last car is probably my favourite since Shields automatically heal to full after battle and it doesn't affect your actual hp unless the shield is broken.

This game has a fairly steep learning curve. It was improved after a few updates but at the time I posted this video is was pretty daunting. I have several videos on this channel that show full runs with and without commentary that explain decisions that I make that may help!

1:27 bruh did you just spend your last handling point on getting rid of the only weapon that could finish off the enemy next turn, you can sometimes take damage by having 0 handling points crashing into other cars

This was just a clip showing the ability to remove weapons to thin the deck to draw what was needed. I actually did discard so that I could possibly bash the enemy. Yes I could have saved for the next turn however the goal with any roguelike is to kill as fast a possible to minimize incoming damage. Therefore the trade off of skidding to possibly finish thus denying the enemy an attack next turn was worth it in that scenario imo. Also note that I would have skid on the next turn due to my handling already being low. This means I would most likely end up behind my enemy since you don't skid forward. I had 2 harpoons which both deal enough damage combined with the bash from behind to finish so keeping the cannon was not needed. Furthermore I had no engine cards and again with skidding backwards I would need a way to catch back up if I were to skid too far behind so having the engine cards for horizontal movement was needed on the next turn.
