That "zen-moment"! I can SO relate to that "cheesy" moment. Had the exact same feeling in Death Valley. Spend an entire sunrise alone with Sophie in Badwater Basin with the sun rising, where we did our separate photography. Total silence beside the cracking salt underneath the shoes. Absolutely eerie... a memory that will last forever and one I will treasure for the rest of my life! And really nice shot there in the end! :)

As with Namibia and now Death Valley, nature shows just how it wants you to be there, Thomas. Add the fact that on both occasions people appear to have vanished from the scene, you have been given the privilege of choosing to cast your lens wherever your eye and the composition takes you. For sure, there is some magic taking place here; yours and nature’s. Compulsive viewing as always.

Spectacular inversion. I'm so jealous! I was just there a few weeks ago and ran into Ben, we chatted a bit about how spectacular this morning was. The most challenging part about Death Valley was that there was so much interesting stuff in so many directions. It felt almost impossible to find a composition without feeling compelled to look around more!
