I’m quite thirsty just watching the video and shall hike to my kitchen for a glass of water.

Great video. You hit the best features and experiences readily available to the average tourist. As of late 2023, only highway 190 is open to vehicular travel both to and from the Furnace Creek area. Ubeeheebee and the road to it from Highway 190 are completely closed, as is the farther road to The Racetrack. Almost all of the secondary dirt or gravel roads within the park are closed, as well.

Lol..I just saw your thumbnail on my recommended list and one of the pics immediately caught my eye....I took the exact same pic of that beautiful twisted old dead tree at Mesquite Dunes.. That strangely beautiful, melancholy invoking tree in the foreground, with the beautiful dunes behind, and the distant soaring striped mountains surrounding the Valley perfectly captures the essence of Death Valley. I assume you felt close to the same way...I actually took several from different angles and my favorite is a 1-1 ratio that I took in black and white....the thing looks like an Ansel Adams postcard....lol.

Yes! You’re right! There was something strangely beautiful about it. It looked like driftwood in the desert. Similar to driftwood on a beach. I can see how your shots in black and white would resemble shots by Ansel Adams. Thank you for checking out my channel and connecting!

Thanks for sharing. This is a great video. May I ask when you went there? Is this 2023? Which month?

Enjoying the video so far but a complete corrections. Yes it’s $30 to get in the park but it covers up to 7 days not $30 per day. Also the toilets aren’t called primitive toilets their called pit and are very common in most outdoor or wilderness places. The reason being many of these places are of course remote and there is no sewer or plumbing. They don’t always smell great but you’re always grateful for them when you really have to go! Cheers

We are going next month mid February any tips for this time of year?
@sarasscubaandtravelchannel11 ай бұрын
Make sure you check the status of the roads. Sometimes you will have road closures due to mud that time of year. I hope you have a great trip! The temperature should be a lot more enjoyable then.
