At metal, you need to learn playing an instrument, at pop, you need a musical base, and just sing to it, which is easy, especially with autotone. Metal is harder. Anything you say, metal will be in the hardest genres to play besides classical, jazz, and any other genre where you need any instument

@@metalhead8338 I'm not even saying I like much of pop music because I don't but it's unwise to generalize different genres of music to be harder or easier because that's not what defines them and it's almost always not true - every song that took effort to make took effort and every song that didn't, didn't regardless of who made it or what genre it falls under. There are pop songs that probably took more effort to make than metal songs and definitely vice versa, as it is with every musical genre. Again, I think people who talk like this are old men who heard some shitty top 10 hit and went "argh! Those damn kids and their pop tunes! They have no skill!" And disregard half of modern music. The real problem with all of this, though, is that pop music is such a broad genre which at different times could encompass Steely Dan, Metallica, and Britney Spears, so on and so forth that it's hard to tell where the line is drawn, which means it's foolish to disregard the entirety of "pop" music by calling it lazy or lacking skill. I can definitely see where you're coming from, since the pop music that comes to mind to all of us is Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift droning on about mundane, cliche shit to a tune that they didn't write. I used to be one of those people too. But then I realized that if there is a song that I like, then I like it and I want to listen to it again. It doesn't matter where it came from, or how much skill it took to make, music is music and the purpose of music is to sound good. And if it sounds good, then who really cares?

hahahaha those are not mistakes, thats Sean Reinert on drums, he changed the songs a bit using odd meters, that was one of the things that Chuck always liked about him, In fact he said that the best version of "pull the plug" was played by Sean couse of what he added.

I can almost understand why people may say something like that. Most people that love this form of music only like a certain kind of people. Also, if we remember Sean reinert and Paul masvidal who played on this studio album later came out and as being homosexual. People can be friends and bandmates and professional artists and leave it at that. Me personally, I care not because I have been bashed for my love of speed/thrash metal( I know, some are going to say that Death was a __________metal band).....tsk tsk, too many labels, but as I was saying, I have been ostracize by blacks whites and others for my musical preference. I knew a guy from South Florida like Chuck who was married with kids "this was 2018" and he sounded effeminate ,and had a son ,who had a girlfriend ,and he sounded more effeminate than him. There are a lot of gay people who live in South Florida, "like in Southern California", because of the warm climate nice beaches and the party lifestyle that these things allways engender, and that the fact they don't tend to have familys' of their own means they are more likely to be able to live and afford that lifestyle.
