Universal Pictures had the rights to Namor all by himself. One reason why he might have never seen the light of day as a movie is cause they didn't have a story for him. I think they contracted the rights so they could use his name and some other trademarked things in another production that had nothing to do with Namor the Submariner.

my main problem with black panther was the social impact. even beyond the overhype from the "it's the best movie ever" coverage because of it being a nearly all black cast and crew, but the number of people who were threatened and actually attacked for watching the movie while white or having the audacity to rate it less than a 11 out of 10, makes it really hard to not see it as just any other b-movie.

I'm gonna bet it's either his most recent one or his strongest mainstay trident. That's the trouble with comic characters that have a lot of retcons, they kinda have to go with a composite. Same thing with Namor.

Felipe Orozco Yeah. Usually they go into depth about all of the biggest feats that different characters have made, when describing their skill set. It’s also important to note that if the Water Hand is not included and Namor wins, then people could easily comment that Aquaman might have easily won had it been considered. It also works Vice Versa. If Aquaman wins with the Help of his Water Hand, then people could say that without the addition of it, Namor would’ve easily won. Regardless, I do hope that they at least mention it and it’s powers and abilities in the episode even if they decide not to allow it in the fight.
