I find it fascinating that, after coming back from the battle between Obito and Darth Vader, one big difference is how the Star Wars combatants handled Genjutsu. Seeing the illusion of Padme's face under Obito's mask was enough to make him recoil, while Obiwan was able to ground himself to dispel the illusion.

One was raised by monks from his early childhood, and watched a demon kill his master, only for him to kill that demon himself. The other was a slave until the age of ten, only to be forced into the burden of being the chosen one, watch his mother die in a constant stream of visions, and witness his wife die. Obi-wan always had nothing to lose except his own life, while Anakin would have sacrificed himself in a heartbeat to not lose anything else.

Get the kids young, too young to really have attachments to others, and raise them to reject those attachments and those children will be very resistant to the dark side. Not perfectly, sure. Just because they can both use their powers, doesn’t mean they can counter all of each other’s powers. So Obi-Wan can still use the Force while Kakashi can’t counter it, and Kakashi can use Genjutsu while Obi-Wan can’t counter it. Kakashi easily wins with Genjutsu because Obi-Wan has literally no idea how to break Genjutsu

This battle is so dope because it forces two chill characters who typically avoid direct single conflict into an all out brawl. They really do mirror each other so we’ll in many ways it’s crazy. Both masters who have seen their fair share of death but still stay to a strict moral code, but are willing to forego that code to bring down their apprentice who fell from grace. They also battle a rival who betrayed their people in a misguided attempt to bring peace to the world/galaxy. Wtf

They kind of cherry pick stats in all of these but still fun to watch. Like Kakashi kept up with naruto and obito so he should be light speed as well. But they kind of took kakashi before the war arc which would definitely make him weaker than obi wan. And they pick obito with the 10 tails which actually makes it kind of a stomp for obito. EVen without the 10 tails obito vs vader would be close.

Also i dont think Light speed would have helped Kakashi much since Jedi with enough mastery of the force view Ships using a Hyperdrive (which gets the ship faster than light speed and shoved in a different dimension) as going in slow motion. My current view of this is if the animation mattered than Kakashi probably would have won if he used Kamui after the genjutsu instead of Chidori, but if the animation doesnt matter than realistically Obi won would just force implode Kakashi before he could react since fighting someone with what is basically Omnipresent and Omniscient Telekinesis with Auto aim and future sight is nigh impossible.

I watch Naruto and Star wars, so I thought Kakshi would win. He's highly skilled and super powerful in the Ninja world. The only Jedi that seems to be super powerful in the Star wars universe is Yoda. But after they analyzed the fight a after I guess it makes sense.

To be fair, Grievous's armor was designed to compensate for inward pressure (starship weapons, planet busters, etc), but Obi-wan may have needed significantly less strength to pull it open, much like how RL spaceships are designed to contain atmospheric pressures but are quite vulnerable to external pressure, or how deep-sea fish distort when brought to the surface. Still, very amusing battle.

His greatest feat would be in Kakashi Retsudan when he held off multiple attacks from a weapon infused with Sage of 6 Paths chakra capable of wiping out a nation in one attack. Kakashi countered it multiple times. The novels actually made Kakashi much stronger without his sharingan than he ever was with it, even double MS. We basically learn that the sharingan was massively holding back his ability to mold chakra as well as his chakra reserves. Losing the MS for Kakashi was like a dragon ball character dropping their training weights.

We always underestimate how rediculously powerfull the Jedi actually are. Because we watch the story of Star Wars from their point of view.
