I'm not sure if James could beat Alex if Alex truly wanted to win. At the end of the game, it really just looked like Alex was just tired of it all and wanted it to end, and he was willing to play as the 2 dimensional villain, but really wanted a person with a better "heart" than himself to take his place in the end.

In the link i posted under regeneration there is a hyperlink for "reforms his entire head after it explodes" and "having his head cut off doesn't slow him down". Losing his head or any body part doesn't really matter.

Maul wins depending on environment, if they were in a space ship, Maul force pushes Carnage out of the shuttle into a nearby star. Don't know much about symbiotes but what if Maul telekinetically pulls Kassidy out of it and then cuts him in half? Would that end the fight? I know it wouldn't outright kill the symbiote but you know.

To Lana Del Bae, In regards to Maul force pulling Carnage and Cassidy apart I will be referencing the regeneration section of the thread. In "The Carnage symbiote is in his bloodstream, meaning that he can form it from a single drop of blood and reform it from a single scratch" it shows that they are fused together at a cellular level. Honestly has Maul shown the ability to take apart an organism at the cellular level? If so I would like to see but as of the canon of Star Wars right now he's more of a sage but not an all powerful force user. Sure he takes Cassidy out of the "suit" but Carnage is still inside him so the regeneration is still in effect. Besides Maul is more warrior than mystic and would rather hack and slash than manipulate.

I don't know her opponent, but his power would have to be able to remove an extremely powerful spirit who was melded in with her own essence so inextricably that the spirit herself can not leave her body by will anymore normally. two versions. 1: Spider man's connection to the VENOM SYMBIOTE specifically negates the spider-sense, because Peter's senses register Venom as Peter, and thus does not respond to it 2: ALL SYMBIOTES put out large erratic movments and overloads the spider-sense (basically it's prepared to move in all directions at all times making it's movments unpredictable)

I have a feeling that Darth Maul would win against Carnage. 1) Jedi, therefore Sith, can exploit weaknesses (as seen from the Harry Potter vs Luke Skywalker episode). So Maul can figure out that symbiotes are weak against extreme heat and sound. 2) The light-saber is just super heated plasma, so it could not only kill the host but also the symbiote. 3) Darth Maul has formal training as a warrior than Carnage. Carnage is unpredictable but Maul can possible outwit him. Plus if Cletus dies and the symbiote tries to take control of Maul, it probably wouldn't. Great cast guys!

Jussi Haili You can't regen cauterised wounds, ask the hydra. Plus fire would kill him if enough was applied or it wouldn't be a weakness and a staff made of super heated plasma could expliot that easily. And Maul's force mastery could immobilise him and Kasidy is definitely weak minded enough for the mind trick.

- Force premonition isn't auto-win for Jedi because it's imperfect. The Force is sentient and has a dual nature, so if the Force is uncooperative it doesn't work as well. Sith are actually better at it because they can manipulate the dark side and most Jedi either can't or won't, and thus cannot see what the dark side chooses to obscure. This even applies to super-powerful Jedi like Yoda, otherwise they would know Palpatine was the Sith Lord. - Force choke won't work against Carnage, because the symbiote is his blood and it's, of course, partially on the outside of his body, so cutting off his windpipe won't actually deprive him of oxygen. I guess if Maul was strong enough in the Force he could snap Cletus's neck, but I like to think the symbiote would make that extremely hard, and Maul doesn't have a lot of Force-related feats anyway. - Lightsaber blades aren't actually made out of light. It's a plasma torch with a magnetic containment field. Plasma is technically a type of fire, so there's no need to make a distinction between fire and extreme heat. - Most powerful 80s action hero is clearly Dolph Lundgren as He-Man.

I'd give it to Maul. He has the Force, which gives him superhuman strength, speed, and agility; psychokinesis; limited precognition; and the ability to amplify his physical abilities. Then there's his lightsaber, which is a plasma sword and would be super-effective against Carnage's symbiote. Carnage has a massive preference for Cletus Kasady, and _hates_ being separated from him. It's willingly separated from him on a few occasions and taken over hosts as powerful as the Silver Surfer, but it's always gone back to Cletus in the end. If Maul killed Cletus and took the Carnage symbiote for himself, it would (try to) take him over and eat him from the inside out.

what is the peak of Darth Maul's power? Episode 1 obviously not, in clone wars you see an insane maul living in a junk yard with cybernetic spider legs, but later he goes on to take over Mandalor, until Darth Sideous showed up killed his brother and then beat Maul, then you have the comics which covers all sort of stuff including the Emperor using Maul to draw out Mother Towson and kill the last of the witches of Dathomir, and now we have Maul in Star Wars rebels still trying to get revenge against Obi-Wan Kenobi.

In a battle of Carnage Vs Darth Maul, I will say that I think Maul is a lot faster, maybe very durable, and has a wide array of skills and proficiency in weapons, but overall I don't think he'd do overly well against carnage, Carnage has combated and contacted far more powerful beings, Sentry (essentially marvel superman), silver surfer, etc. Carnage may have the weaker weapons cause of Mauls lightsaber, but it's been demonstrated that Carnage has a limited time where his separate parts can move or attack before dissolving, as he often throws his parts in the form of spears, axes, and other such weapons. Mauls force abilities could affect Cletus but the Symbiote can act without a host, worst case scenario being it tries to attach to Maul, Maul uses a force wave to splatter it around only for the symbiote to iron coffin him from all directions turning itself into long spikes to repeatedly skewer Maul and forcibly enter his body, ripping him apart inside
