Thoughts. 1. For those still confused about why Death Battle didn't give Alucard the Schrodinger powers in addition to his other abilities, I looked into a possible example for how that could work. In the game "Mortal Kombat Armageddon", Shang Tsung, proven willing to usurp anyone he works for in pursuit of power, gets an arcade ending where he gets a power-up that lets him change the forms of others, as he then tests by turning Shao Kahn into a Centaur slave and taking over Outworld. While such a form would make Shao Kahn easier to compare to other Centaurs of Outworld in terms of what he can do, that same ending gave no reason for Shang Tsung to let Shao Kahn keep all his own powers in addition to that. Thus, the only access Shao Kahn ever had to the abilities of a Mortal Kombat Centaur came from a source likely to hinder his other abilities. As such, I find it unlikely anyone researching him for "Death Battle" would include that. And I see no reason why that same logic would not apply to Alucard gaining the abilities of Schrodinger. 2. Yeah, DIO is INSANELY over-powered. When I tried thinking of possible improvements to make for him the way I do other Death Battle winners, the only one that came to mind is looking for a way around his sunlight weakness like I would for Goliath from the Disney show "Gargoyles". Outside of that, I had an easier time thinking of Death Battle winners to fight against him than I did improvements to him. For those wondering which combatants I went with, here are some examples. Since consuming blood is the fastest way for DIO to heal, anyone whose body worked without blood, such as Ultron or Kool-Aid Man, could survive and damage him more effectively without having to worry about providing him a quicker patch-up option. Kenshiro made sense to pit against DIO based on his "Death Battle" against Jotaro Kujo. Ghost Rider was an easy pick based on DIO comparing the number of lives he ended to the amount of bread his enemies have eaten in their entire lives. (Although is anyone really surprised by that? The guy was such an a-hole that his unholy wickedness led to the end of an entire universe. The "Penance Stare" had a LOT of fuel to burn DIO from the inside out.) All 3 DC speedsters who won in "Death Battle" made sense based on how they push their speed powers to such a degree as to TRAMPLE several laws of physics and reality. Reverse Flash in particular stuck out because he has all of that plus extensive experience with time antics well above anything "ZA WARUDO!" displayed outside of that one non-canon game. Booster Gold was considered based on similar experience with stopping and manipulating time. Even if Mitsuru's Persona Artemisia was different enough from a Stand where it couldn't count to help her see or fight "ZA WARUDO!", it still made her immune to ice and the cold, which protected her from getting frozen. And could heal any damage she took. And provided analytical clairvoyance that made her harder to ambush.

@@bernirn I'm referring to the fact that after absorbing Schrodinger, Alucard faded away and only came back after wiping out all of the other absorbed souls he depended on for his quicker recovery and his "extra lives", among other abilities. While having access to both the Schrodinger powers and his insane healing factor would be extremely beneficial to the "No Life King", the source material used in Alucard's research made it clear that this would not work.

I wouldn't say its janky, it just feels tame, the hits don't feel impactful, it feels like they're fighting like any normal martial artist in their respective series. Which doesn't fit them at all, these two are larger than life villains who do not hold back when they're fighting their enemies, they make their enemies know who they're fighting and make sure that they die in the most painful way possible but then again, this is just a preview this could be like Jon Talbain vs Saberwolf where the preview looked terrible, the the entire fight after that was amazing. Also Shao Khan's voice is awful, which is weird since DB knocks it out of the park in terms of their voice casting, especially after the previous episode which had phenomenal ones.

I think the better format is to not have this be a 1 v 1 match up all the way through, maybe for these first matches it's fine sense you have looser's bracket, but keeping it either a 3 way or 4 way like the 1st match in the death battle cast will give the most effective result. I think part of what made the original 4 way match up really well rounded and interesting is each fighter would force the others to come up/look into more of what they can bring out, usually when it's a 1 v 1 you can get in a loop were you have 1 or 2 strong argument for each one and miss out on other abilities/possibilities they can bring out, but with a 3 or 4 way match I think everyone is more on their toes as to really argue and research what they can do to cover not just 1 match up, but 2. plus you avoid the risk of ending the tournament in a match up were the winner got lucky by being the niche counter to their opponent and instead you get a match were the elected winner is the true "ultimate/strongest cereal" mascot.

My argument against the raisin Bran son is that it can't possibly be an actual star. If it were an actual star then the scoops of raisins would be vaporized and sucked into its gravitational well. And since it's holding two normal size scoops of raisins it has to be fairly small and would be easy to snuff out.

Its kinda hard for me to guess who would win this fight but based on what I know and correct me if I'm wrong: --Akuma appears to be physically stronger with that island feat and possibly the meteor feat if they're using the comics. Compared to that the most that a lot of MK characters can do is temple level, though considering Kahn is one of the strongest MK character in lore I'm curious to see how he differs. --Shao Kahn has a much wider and more complex arsenal, and he his combat experience thanks to his age outranks Akuma's in tonnes, so Akuma's training doesn't really matter. If Akuma is stronger then he will definitely struggle to close the gap (as we saw). --Even despite all of that I think it's ultimately going to come down to Kahn's Soul Stealing powers vs Akuma's Satsui no Hado and Raging Demon. I do think it would be interesting to see if Raging Demon could work on somebody immortal like Kahn. I am leaning slightly more towards Akuma winning, but either way its an interesting matchup.

I like the idea of Orochimaru v Medusa. Orochimaru needs a DB and that may be his best opponent since every Naruto character we had in DB have all been good guys basically (Sasuke half and half and I guess Madara next month or 2 when he fights Aizen). Also a shame we had no Akatsuki members yet (Itachi v Byakuya is a perfect matchup).
