This shit is so good. The slightly muted drum volume in the production creates an incredibly smooth, warm and accessible experience out of what is usually a very harsh genre. overall the mix is balanced perfectly and manages to be extremely easy on the ears while still going incredibly hard at points. on top of that there are sometimes so many layers of gorgeous sounds that it borders on shoegaze / wall of sound sometimes. It's like getting lost in a multi-coloured blizzard of blissful melodies. It's an astonishing refinement of the Dreamcore genre. The overall aesthetic of the whole project is just so cool and so chill. This record has become a mainstay in my studying / working / chilling / ambient playlists and I absolutely cannot wait to hear more Deathbrain in the future. Simply phenomenal.

Got deep into Sewerslvt several years ago, and while I love the atmospheric pads combined with gritty-ass lo-fi breakbeats, I also have really wanted to hear more atmospheric dnb/breaks/jungle that is not super moody and depressing. Whenever I listen to this album, I feel at home, safe and warm. I have listened to it regularly for one year now, still not tired of it. The sound design, the style, everything is original and perfectly used. It uses some codes of the genre but as a way I have never heard before. And the vocals, can we talk about the vocals ? They are so frickin awesome and well mixed... Well, this album helped me a lot in my life, and whenever I feel lost, I listen to it. For that, thank you.

I'm not one to comment often, but I do need to give kudos where it's due. I bought this album a while back and since then it's been one of my go-tos for working, driving, etc. The whole thing is absurdly good, with a solid 5-6 tracks being personal favourites that come with a vibe/energy I can't find elsewhere . It's pretty rare that I see someone so consistently pump out quality (including works outside of this album, eg. stargazing with you), especially with such a unique sound. Great job.

After many time relistening to this album I,think I understand why I resonate so much with this album. Though I don't know if this was your intention but you seemingly perfectly encapsulated how it feels to be up late at night,especially when your in your room alone, on one hand it offers this kinda bliss, it's just you now,it's calm and quiet - there's one to interrupt you in your doings, and a lot of the times(at least for me) my creative thoughts run wild at night,but on the other hand there's this feeling of loneliness and emptiness. It's just you- your alone, granted there's the internet(and you can find many people to talk to on there) but sometimes it leaves you with a more hollow feeling than before. And sadly creative thoughts aren't the only type to run wild at night, that depression,the anxiety that you tried so hard to keep yourself so busy during the day to think about - has now caught up to you and seeps into your thoughts. This album is really well put together and I'm glad I've gotten to experience listening to this.

Production quality is unique, perfectionistic, and sublime. I didn't really put this album that high on my list the first time I listened to it. This has been one of my favorite albums these past few months. It’s just so healing. It gives me so much energy. I listen to it to fall asleep, to fall out of a state of demotivation when I cannot focus on work, to fall into myself when I’m on a train or plane, to momentarily fall out my surroundings and revitalize energy from within. And every time I fall, I get so lost in the sound, that it seems like reality is barley even there anymore - that it seems like it’s just me and the music and nothing else except for some vague space around me. It’s such a beautiful feeling. In the past, I’ve tried to detach from reality because I was afraid of feeling. Now I detach from reality so I can feel even better. Thank you for this album, Deathbrain. Thank you for being a part of my growth. Thank you for letting me fall into feeling. P.S. I absolutely love the framing of the album as a sort of movie with end credits and an after credits song (which is such a banggerrr). Everything just flows together so well, yet has such a distinct feel to it. Such amazing work!!!

Listening to this album was an absolute delight. It has nostalgic sounds remeniscent to what I heard in ps1 or early ps2 era games.
