So my theory about this one right now is that this is supposed to be a return to their 2012 Symbols of Great Power/Hidden in Plain Sight style. The description for this EP references a starship crashing on the same date as Burning Bridges released, and the hidden track on that album mentions time traveling to 2012.

Я сейчас разрисовываю статуэтку всадника на коне и у неё такие же цвета как на обложке :) Лошадь в флуоресцентном синем, всадник зеленым и шоры оранжевого, а при ультрафиолете оранжевый будет отдавать розовым. Im be totally honest ...this is really weak and kinda lame and watered downed for what id expected from BMSS . I hope they arent just becoming a ginmick. This song is actually ass. All the ppl creaming over it....go kisten to old BMSS. Its not even comparable. Its qeak and kinda souless

tbh that's what I felt with Burning Bridges when it released but it grew on me over time and became my favourite release of the band, I hope this is also the case now. It has many catchy riffs and ideas and I like the overall change in sound, time will tell I guess. Old BMSS rips though, hopefully they'll release a CD for this to add to the collection

I think this music was made with AI, like the cover art. It's perfectly within AI capabilties (see things like kzbin.info/www/bejne/iquqooBjbNhpm7M ) and the instruments have that weird flat muddy sound that AI does. I think it was made as part of the ARG for an actual BMSS album - if not, they really fell off lol

It's not about the lofi sound. It's the fact that it doesn't sound good. It's disconcerted, muddled, and aimless in direction. I'm not sure what the end result is intended to be but each track sounds like half of a song with maybe one instrument playing at a time and tinpot drums. Compared to Hidden in Plain Sight or Panzerwitch it makes you wonder if it's even the same people or if people have even made most of the sounds presented here. If they released this first as opposed to their first albums they would have disappeared and actually been hidden in plain sight. The very ending of this track shows promise but the first half is very weak in comparison.
