Hey Mogwai, I just want to thank you for your content. I was following you since the early Gwent days, I loved playing Nilfgaard and your decks were the most enjoyable to play. When you switched to MTG Arena I was sad, but totally understood your decision. I personally stopped playing Gwent after the update from 3 to 2 rows but I had not much fun playing it before, this was just the last nail in the coffin. Personally, I didn’t like MTG for their unbalance and pricing policy. After starting to play LOR, I was searching for fun deck concepts on youtube an was very happy to see that you were already playing it and resubscribed immediately. I used your Videos since that time to sleep. The upload time was perfect, as it is half an hour before my sleep time. And that is not meant to be an insult. You have a very nice and calming voice and even with the shouting here and then it was a reliable way to put me to sleep fast, sometimes I couldn’t even finish the Deck tech. I always rewatched the whole video while eating breakfast the next day. When you took breaks from LOR, I was sad again, but every time I could understand that decision. I had the same feeling but enjoy playing Path of Champions a lot. So, in those times I played lots of this and then got back to PVP when the balancing got better. In the times of you playing Snap and TFT, I cancelled my subscription on KZbin (didn’t want my subscriptionbox to be flooded with content I don’t watch) but checked every 1-2 months If you returned to LOR or another game that I enjoy playing AND watching (TFT I only enjoy playing). So yeah, this time I returned 5 days ago and it was a good Christmas gift. So quite a lot of rambling on my side to say: thank you for your amazing content, keep up the good work! And if LOR become stale in the future don’t hesitate to take a break or switch to another game. Your content is enjoyable the most when you are happy and inspired. If we (I think I speak not only for me) can’t get behind the new game, we will get back to this channel someday in the future. I returned three times already and become only a stronger supporter. Kinda like the undying… And regarding your question from the Riven&Elder Dragon deck: I enjoy the recorded videos without streaming the most. The Twitch chat is quite often just annoying, with strange questions and backseatgaming. If you still want to include Streaming videos, I would prefer to not have the Twitch Chat visible in the video. But that is just my opinion and I would still watch your videos with the Twitch Chat

I also know him from Gwent, stopped playing Gwent after a major update which made a lot of huge changes I did not agree with. Could be the one you are talking about.

Man, even after you take a break and come back i find myself watching all your videos. I don't even play LoR anymore but I just enjoy seeing your gameplay because it's just generally pretty high level. It's fun seeing the different concepts you come up with. Also, I don't mind either type of video, I think I'd just enjoy more content from you regardless

Absolutely adore when you go in depth with your deck tech section, i haven't played LoR for a long time (since equipment was added) so i really appreciate when you explain the reasoning behind each card you choose, and also the best ways to use it ❤. thanks again for the top tier content ☺

I'll be honest Mog, I've always loved SI but I've never had a deck that just... clicked with my playstyle. And this has done it. I've climbed from bronze to gold in a day. I'm having a crazy winrate with this. Thank you for your content and all that you do. Much love.

A good rework to elder dragon to balance him is the amount of dragon boons revealed based on the amount of copies you put in the deck. So if you only run 1, it's basically randomized, playing 2 copies is basically the same as before, and playing 3 is picking one of 3 boons, which I think is a good buff for legit elder dragon decks

I think a slight improvement to the deck is replacing one shape of fear for the darkin Halbard, halbard is about as good as shape of fear when played as equipment usually and the darkin can be in a suede harrowing late game. Definitely recommend adding halbard over 1 shape of fear. 10/10 deck because printing veigo is fun!!!

It also doesn’t get affected by suppression or juror, might be worth putting 2 of those in place of shapes of fear

Yeah I agree, it counters curses witout being countered by shackles or suppression. Worst case scenario you can use it as a 10/10 fearsome which can win you the game on its own.

Ive been playing this deck all expansion with great sucess. I run Cloud drake, so i can give it deathless then revive it with morde. I played a 0 mana Viego on turn 8 last game utilizing similar strategies. I also run firespitter cause a 9/5 that deals 2 to an enemy and the nexus with challanger and tough for 4-5 mana is busted. For 6 mana its strong but if you get the cloud drake going its busted. I am missing healing tho so maybe I'll splash a one of soul gorger like you.

I agree. I like Elder Dragon origin opening deck building but It shouldn't be on such a powerful stick. Every part of the card is extremely pushed. I think u should only apply a boon if you behold Elder Dragon (kinda like jhin). Hopefully, they release more champs with his type of origin.

Of All Things possible I hope that's not the one they do. I think Jhin feels incredibly bad to play because of the behold thing. I would rather have them nerf the boons into the ground if I'm not prone to being fucked by RNG to even play my deck

Imagine late game turn 10+ and you top deck your first elder dragon and that shit still costs 12 mana because you can't proc your boons

@@Yuri-q4vi agree, there was a reason everyone hated bard. Rng is already a main factor in card games but losing games to something outside of bad drawing like a random boon hitting an important creep and giving it deathless feels so disguisting.

@@stefankostovski80 yeah 100%. I just hope they focus on the boons themselves. They could for example change the chemtech boon to augment or, what I would prefer, just make it "draw 1"

He should have some feels-bad parts to his kit since you get EVERY 6+ cost follower. That's a huge bonus that requires a drawback.@@2ndSentient

Random opinion, but for my part I think twitch chat included is pretty hilarious most of the time. Sure, it’s a pool full of little dumdums but Mogwais interaction with them is so damn funny to me most of the time, it cracks me up.

@@henriquealves5740 YW, I did choose to switch my 1 copy of Inviolus Vox for another Gentle Gemdragon. My reasoning for having Inviolus was for when I draw too many low cost cards he gives extra gas, but usually my hand becomes too full with him and you usually want your hand at 5-6 cards at most to get a lot of dragons from Age of Dragons. And Gentle Gemdragon is really good when you find him with Age of Dragons because he gives multiple buffs.

Guys, i was playing urf mode and i discovered a tech. Idk if it is a bug or a feature. there is actually a synergy with curious shellfolk and dragon boons. you can create the skills in your hand. the crazy thing about it is when you play the skill you can choose and give it all to your allys in play. like one deathless dragon boon skill to all allys. im not lying

As much as I like elder dragon. I'm not enjoying the current elder dragon meta. 99% of the time ED decks he's not even there. He's just there as a one off for the boons. Elder dragon norra for example is just using ED to get broadmane with deathless and putting every BC ping to clear enemy boards and kill you with a booned burblefish elusive. They're disappointing to play against.
