I remember the first time when you played this song and you said, “Babe, this is our song”. I laughed because you didn’t even know Hmong. And now I cry every time I hear this song. Somehow you knew that the world didn’t want us physically To be together. My parents were afraid of you because they didn’t know you. My family pushed us away because they said they were embarrassed. We fought our way out and lived the best we can. But God had other plans. I hope he’s taking care of you as I miss you everyday. Your handsome son is growing fast. He looks just like you. We really wish that you were still here with us, living through the good, bad, and ugly times. Just to let you know, as much as I want to give up in life, I will try my best to raise our son.
