What irritated me the most about otis’s death was that those beepers are supposed to start blaring after i think 18 seconds if the fire fighter isnt moving and his body was blocking the door for them to get out, both of which was disregarded until like 5 minutes after otis initially went down. Even tho he was so severely burned i feel if they actually realized what had happened right away i feel he wouldnt have died but woulda been retired from the cfd

When severide didn't believe truck regarding Severides buddy Rice, he never apologized to them and when otis died, we should've seen him actually apologize to his stone on the property. I have had many reasons why I didn't like him much but that was unforgivable what he did. Lost all respect for severide and the way he treats kidd and Cruz. They respect him but he doesn't respect anyone but himself.

It was dumb letting Otis go. You make it like Otis was old. He was not! You could have extended his life like he wasn't making it. Then have him in the hospital in intensive care and his friends visit. While say Cruz, becomes filled with anxiety thatcit causes the best solution to help Otis is to go sit in church and talk to God. Then at the hospital, suddenly the alarm goes off and everyone panics. Thinking of the worst, doctors & nurses run in to check Otis. When they come out, everyone thinks the worse. When suddenly everyone learns Ots pulled through!This causes not only a relief, but tears of joy! When Cruz returns, everyone tells him off for not being around! They tell Cruz of this sudden miracle, not knowing where or how it came from. How no one understands. Yet, as Cruz looks up to the sky, he becomes teary eyed, saying, "thank you Lord! I owe you one!"
