The one with the cold guy? In the end that's how it often is in the real world, you aren't considered truly dead until you are warm and dead, being cold or even borderline frozen actually saves people's lives as their body was able to basically go into a semi hibernation state to protect itself and preserve other functions albeit as long as you aren't too cold for too long.

And that is where a person like me you should be teaching these guys because I'm a metalsmith how to break locks like that much faster and much easier than the obviously know how to do... That lock that was on there is one of the easier ones to literally remove but then I'm a very odd duck in that I carry special tools with me everywhere usually to handle anything that requires getting a lock off.
@catmaxwell669128 күн бұрын
it’s not about breaking the lock effectively. It’s a fictional scene designed to create dramatic tension. I’m pretty confident NBC can afford any type of consultant they’d like if they cared about the authenticity of breaking a lock.
@safiremorningstar11 күн бұрын
@@catmaxwell6691 I know it’s a work of fiction, but that was my point. It’s stupid because I am not even the top in my field so you can imagine how many people there are out there who could’ve pretty much picked the lock and gotten it open or you know found a way to break the lock or whatever the point is, it’s stupid. It has always been stupid. Even some of their medical stuff is out of date. Yes I know it’s to create drama, but to me it’s just nonsense. whenever I look at these nonsense clips, I just don’t see the point all I see is the fact that these people aren’t trained well enough and it bothers me somehow mind you I’ve seen people who are supposed to know better as EMTs and paramedics who you have to ask yourself, did they just memorize the stuff to pass the test and get a job or did they actually learn anything and it always bothers me it just always does because I mean I’ve been in a situation where I had to deal with paramedics and EMTs, who did not know their craft… and that just made things 10 times worse. I should stop clicking on this click bait.
@catmaxwell669111 күн бұрын
@ respectfully, it *is* nonsense. And none of their “medical stuff” is accurate, either. It’s cheap television fiction, with fictional scenarios created specifically to advance the plot. Authenticity, in any form, isn’t a prerequisite. Real medicine, emt’s, cops and police procedures, have no place in a discussion about entertainment, dumbed down to suit an hour format, & the common viewer.

Sometimes if a patient is hypothermic to a point, the heart can slow to the point of appearing asystole. But being frozen can preserve someone.

@@GuitarHeroRocks99 No offense, but please watch your language. Thats literally not correct, what you meant was they aren´t allowed to (because of copyright). Of corse they still could if they wanted to, since they got the files to upload em. Often people come to me and say "You cant do that", "that" being whatever I just did and therefor obviously already proved them wrong... What they mean is "You are not allowed to do that", and mostly even that is wrong, because its usually all in their head and not even illegal...😁

@@GuitarHeroRocks99 that is not true as there are some tv shows that get uploaded on KZbin
@Reptile_GeckoАй бұрын
@@Georgebrassington Only if they own them or they edit them. Or they risk getting shut down with copyright strikes, I know of one that uploads a show I can't watch on TV they upload the full episodes with no edits, but if someone reported them the videos would all be copyright striked. So, you are correct that TV shows do exist on youtube, but that doesn't always mean they are technically allowed to and not everyone wants to risk it.

If you are talking about the doctor (Shaw) and the female paramedic, they went on a dare/one night stand and he read way more into it than she did and got all stalkery trying to get another date. When she refused, he got mad and tried to get her fired/disgraced with a bogus allegation. Turned he had a pattern of that kind of behavior which is what the paramedic was talking about.

@@DrBrennan think he meant the abusive couple in the first I assume that the wife burned the house down to try and get back as her husband for abusing her, husband dies, wife gets arrested
@NyanGamerPLАй бұрын
@@Noggist1 actually no, I remember this episode very well - while the wife did torch the place, she did it only to escape the abuse. The guy survived and 51 pulled him out. Casey had a talk with the wife about seeking help, which she eventually did, cause when PD asked how did he get the gash on the head Severide and Casey just came up with a story of seeing him fall during the fire and hitting a bedpost, and, well, knowing his story PD didn't feel like asking more questions.
