Now, I only use an app to measure par but it serves me well. I recorded at about 9am one morning >3000 ųmol/m2/s. I've measured reading of 2600-2800 at noon but never that high and so early in the day. I'd like to see your reading at 09:00/12:00/15:00 and the DLI.

UV Index of 12. I am growing in SoCal Dessert area in the Temecula Wine Valley. We had a horrible summer in 2022. We had over 45 days of 100 degree F. Turpines Roasted and evaporated in the heat. (I now have orderless plant material) ....Maintaing water was insane. I think there was a lack of THC production due to heat. Nursery's down here advise UV netting. Often UV index is 10+......and can fry a Palm tree. Tree Nursery's advise only partial direct sunlight for outdoor. Being from NJ ...I have never had to grow in such Extreme heat. I have to start taking light meter readings.

would it be worth the study to see how the plant would react to varying degrees of lighting intensity as it gradually cycles through a 24 hr period. also could it be beneficial to study the effects of varying degrees of heat treatment as it goes through the same cycle? also would you advise the use of a humidifier only when the temperature is lowered and the lights are off?
@DeBaccoUniversity Жыл бұрын
The artificial lights sun rise sun set features are typically not needed the key is PAR reading and this was to show how it can look bright, but how quick the PAR degrades. Humidity is key for VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit and this is independent of lights on or off.

How do the light and CO2 value work together? I know at some point more light in Indoor grow is useless cause the Plant is missing CO2 or was it otherwise? However, nice video keep on track guys.
@Bergwacht2 жыл бұрын
At what PPFD do you need CO2? Generally, optimum levels of CO2 will be two to four times the normal atmospheric levels (800 - 1,400 ppm CO2) when growing under high PPFD conditions. We recommend supplementing ≥ 800 ppm CO2 into your controlled environment when you are providing your plants with ≥ 500 μmol/m2/s. fluence.science/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Fluence-Photobiology-Guide-2019.pdf Page 4
