I think this was put out there to remove distractions from Bayern. But if not that sporting coach looks really good just worried a bit by the language barrier.

I personally don’t think Xabi Alonso will manage Liverpool in his career now. If you think about all the clubs in the world, Liverpool are the only club who don’t become available bi-yearly or every 5 or so years. Liverpool clearly going for a young long term manager too. If you think how quick football changes tactically, will alonso’s football, resume or his own circumstances fit in 10 or so years? Doubt it.

It will be tough for any manager to replace Klopp on Liverpool, although the club is in a great shape with amazing team and so many young prospects and talents. Bayern is a mess and the club doesn't wait too much for any new coach to make a positive progress. Thus said, Alonso did the right thing, he will win the Bundesliga this season and the next one will lead the club in UCL.

Unpopular opinion. Chelsea don't need much investment at all. They need maybe 2 or 3 captain personalities. When you look at their squad, there's a lot of talent there, but they just need those captain mentalities around the squad that keep the standards high, as well as being proven winners. A new Thiago Silva type stalwart in defence, maybe two. A forward that guarantees them 20+ league goals. For me, they're extremely dangerous with those. A harderened, battle proven midfielder (look at Endo for Liverpool).
