Rasheed Kareem BUT... how many people has he driven away from Islam or alienated eg.the Shia community. There are certain established methods for winning people over which really are pretty universal. Hijab is pretty average as a communicator right now but has the potential to be much much better. To his credit he has a warm personality and is prepared to apologize when wrong. However when looked at on influencing principles ala Caldiani and other experts, he isn't good. Contrast him with Zain who has much higher communication and debating skills and winning people over in droves to the Shia message. It's not about technical or superior Islamic knowledge but about winning people over. It's not about education, power, authority on a topic but about tapping into the emotional make up,building relationships and bridges. It's not about win lose but collaboration.. Now how does creating barriers like he has done here help these aspects!?, For every one person Mohammad influences to accept Islam, how many people is he alienating and driving away or ridiculing Islam or Sunni Islam?, Sure his loyal fanbase wants a victory but at what cost?, Now if he decided to discuss a modern context built on historical facts about the khilafah, why its needed today, etc then he might have something much more relevant.

So there he goes debating all sorts of scientific claims but doesn't know about science.. Now that's not to show any deficiency on his part since he's an excellent Islamic apologist and uses a philosophical angle VS atheists. However his position here isn't logically consistent. As the Shia interlocutor mentioned, does Hijab know Hebrew when debating Christians (eg Jay Smith)? Imagine if Jay or James White imposed a condition like that? To be honest Adnan looked embarrassed I thought and quickly mentioned discussions as acceptable but not academic ones! The book of Allah and my progreny.” Secondly, your last point can only be applied to rape because in mutah, sexual interocurse isn’t allowed. Also, don’t you know that the Sunnis believe the prophet permitted mutah except, the Sunnis say it was abrogated. Such stupid arguments and patheticness. We pray the five daily prayers, we recite dua Kumayl every Thursday night, dua juash al kabeer (which has 1000 names of Allah) during Ramadan and dua malshool.

J IraQi Ht3 - especially for Shias because a number of their beliefs are based on an incorrect understand of Arabic morphology and conjugation. If they were willing to learn and not be stubborn, they would realise this. The same way maths is a set system eg. 1+1=2 and no one can argue against this, similarly Arabic has a set system too and it just takes someone willing to understand, to understand.

One would think that the sahabas were supposed to be good role models for the Ummah. 7. Please study the first twelve verses of Sura Tahreem and ponder over it. 8. Did Ayesha and Mu'awiyya accept hazrat Ali (a s) as the Rightful Caliph of their time or what? Please study the history of Islam academically, with an open mind and free of prejudice. Any objective neutral observer would notice that the Sunni side is absolutely right and just at this debate. The same would apply if this was let's say Hasidic vs Sephardic debate instead of Sunni-Shia dispute. Just about common sense and fair play principles. The Shias usually get very emotional (something I noticed that happens when Br. Hijab and other Muslims talk to Christians at the Speakers' Corner) which only outlines the weakness of their position.
