How does he expect to do that if he's going to basically call them traitors to the United States in a debate that was otherwise civil? There's other ways of asking and prodding than what he did here. I'd also say that he wasn't being charitable to her position. If you're basically going to tell people "You think this way because you hate America" then the conversation is effectively finished. I think Kim is completely wrong on a number of things, but I at least understand her logic in some of her points at least, and her reasoning is a bit deeper than "I hate my country".
