The single fact that the FIFA World Cup takes place after every 4 years signifies how big its stature is. Several legends of the sport came close however couldn't lift it. As modern day greats like Messi and Ronaldo themselves said that while they had won every possible trophy, the World Cup is like a dream that requires going beyond the ordinary.

Purely going by technicality and also what the question was on, chances of winning the WC is definitely more difficult. Because, - As a club you have much larger pool of players available. - You have more experience of playing the same set of teams, at least in the league. - You can improve upon past mistakes (past league seasons) and build upon them. - A draw is less harmful as compared to a draw in WC group stages. And then of course WC has knockouts. - CL has much more gap compared to WC matches. More time to adapt, recover, strategise etc. - If England does not win the coming WC then it could mean the end for this generation of exceptional English talent. Same as Belgium who could not win the WC despite being no 1 team in the world for a long time. Whereas with club football you have more chances of trying for treble.

Comparatively a World Cup is hard ,it is just not 7 game tournament the build up from qualifying to playing World Cup it take almost 2,3 years times and you have specific player to choose from in national team.for a players they will choose World Cup over any trophy

You just simply won’t win WC or treble unless you have a great squad. Anything you do for a Country will always have more prestigious. No doubt. But that doesn’t mean it’s tougher. Treble is far tougher than WC. A team has to sustain the pressure of rivals for a whole year. Has to go through like 65 matches against very high variety of teams. And also has to juggle through league and Cup formats every week. WC more prestigious. Treble more difficult.

Now i will give 5 reasons why UCL treble is easier compared to world cup... 1. World cup is played in neutral Venues in whole of the tournament, comparing of 7 matches having a do or die situation, whereas you can make a comeback in UCL by performing in home venue... 2. Real Madrid had won 14 champions league and zero treble, its the fault of Madrid where you have to fight only with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.. Even barcelona has two trebles while winning only 5 UCLand even inter milan has treble...Man United and man City both won treble in last 24 years while no world cup by England in last 50 years.. 3. In club level you can buy and sell players.. while In national team you cant.. Example United can sell Maguire and restrength its team by buying a player anywhere from the world.While England cannot sell Maguire either you take him or find a replacement from England only. 4. I guess you are law student so despite that you might heard of how probability works. World Cup happens once in 4 years, while UCL happens every year. So the outcome of winning it increases by 4 times.. 5. You remain with your club players all the whole year so they can know each other very well how they plays.. While in national team tournament hardly you get a week to prepare and gel up with palyers that too of different clubs... 6. Extra point - When you are dominant in UCL you can easily win the league and its domestic cup as seen previously by all treble winners. According to your point winning chances of India in AFC championship is harder than winning a FIFA World cup... Peace❤️

Winning a world cup is much tougher than a treble. No question. You have to wait 4 years to even play a world cup. Its a very short amount of time to create a team and gel. One mistake and you are out. Also the pressure of whole world watching is so much. This is why great players like ronaldo flopped so hard through out their career in the World Cup.
