MJ being the best offensively and defensively is silly. First off you can be great on offense and defense while someone else is great on defense but just ok on offense or great on offense but just ok on defense. Countless examples in history of this. But bigger than that someone like wilt is far better than Mike on both ends rivaling him in assists and steals and close to him in scoring and well above him in FG% and blocking 6x as much as as MJ steals the ball and in general steals better than MJ blocks by far and blocks better than MJ steals by far and defends the post better than Mike defends the perimeter and vice versa. No brainer Scotty as number 2 is irrelevant since eras matter. MJ needed Scotty in the 90s where the comp is far far easier than the 60s-80s which is why MJ never won a single chip pre91 and didn’t make it out the first round pre pippen None of these chips fly in wilts era or the late70s-80s Someone can have a better number 2 than MJ had and still be way better since it’s a higher quality league and players we are discussing same way you can have a sidekick in a rec league and face a team with 3 whole guys better than both of y’all since that team is Just on another level due to its players

Dude is talking about Kareem not being much at tail end of his career but failing to acknowledge he is in his peak prime facing a post prime Wilt in the early 70s lmao what kind of asinine bias is that? Soon as I heard “tail end of his career and MJ was dominating at 40” I knew this dude was heavily biased and severely lacks in basketball knowledge Unfortunately the brainwashing is strong with him to not even know that Wilt at the tail end of his career rivaling prime Kareem for 3 years is beyond impressive while MJ only played a tail end of career Kareem and never even faced him in the playoffs and with the wizards MJ was far less dominant than Wilt in Wilts last 2 years of his career. Clearly MJ playing baseball wasn’t enough to stop MJ from performing in his prime come playoff time in 95. The only difference between 95 and 96 is rodman was squired which made the bulls get over the hump with defense and rebounding they needed and this is proven since MJ had better numbers in 95 postseason than 96 postseaon So what is the proof that MJ dominated in 96 to win but did not dominate in 95 being rusty to win?
