Debbie McGee Opens Up About Living With Grief After Death Of Her Husband Paul | Loose Women

She’s been in the nation's hearts since 1979 when she found fame as the lovely assistant of her late husband, world-famous TV magician Paul Daniels. But since then, Debbie drew praise for her stint on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2017, and now she’s discovering Northern Irish culture in a new BBC show, ‘B&B By The Sea’. Debbie will be speaking to us about checking into the B&B as well as learning to live with her grief, and moving forward with her life after Paul.

I grew up on Mrs Merton's "what did you see in multi-millionaire Paul Daniels?" naughty comment and never gave Debbie McGee much thought. Later saw what a devoted partner she was after his terrible diagnosis, happy to sit watching re-runs of old shows eating ice lollies, staying calm on the surface for him although she knew her world would turn upside down. Her stint on Strictly was brilliant and i realised what a fine dancer she was, even in mature years. Thoroughly decent woman, not afraid of hard work or commitment. Paul Daniels was lucky to have found her.
