I deeply believe this channel desserves more views. So weird I've watched most of these movies but that tends to happen when you watch at least one movie a day. I had forgotten about Filth, I just remembered watching it and thinking "that's not how copiers work... or do they...?"

Interesting video as always, Debbie. I'll definitely check Tokyo Godfathers very soon. My favorite alternative Christmas Movie for some time now is Green Book. I know the whole movie covers many and much more important topics, but the whole plot that comes down to Christmas is just so feel-good for me I've been watching it every Christmas Eve for a couple years now. Maybe because I'm secertly a bit envious of those Italian family gatherings for the holiday.

Nice upload deb. This time of year i usually like the tim burton vibe but i have been interested in watching "the hunt" for a while and try to check one more from your list. I am surprised you didnt mention a certain movie but probably because you mentioned it a bunch. "Sweetheart, you can't buy the necessities of life with cookies".

Hey Debbie grazie mille per i consigli! Avrei una curiosità, come gestisci la pronuncia dei nomi propri essendo bilingue? Per dire, "Maria" e "Makoto Shinkai" li sento chiaramente pronunciati "alla Italiana". Che criterio utilizzi per scegliere di usare una pronuncia italiana piuttosto che quella inglese e viceversa?

Good question! Le parole italiane mi "rifiuto" di pronunciarle all'inglese, es. nel mondo del cinema per me Scorsese, Tarantino, Ferrari, Coppola ecc vanno detti all'italiana 😄 Quindi Maria probabilmente è per quello, nonostante esista anche la versione inglese, sará anche una cosa subconscia che certe parole le ho sentite piú spesso pronunciate in un certo modo Per Makoto Shinkai invece mistero! Non me lo sono proprio chiesto 😁
