58:58 there is suggestion - sudo pkill X and actually in the xshkd conf was a hotkey to restart bspwm) and there is no systemd unit because you are launching X manually via startx

I use the built-in app in Gnome for this video; it's a screenshot app that also allows screen recording. I have not done OBS yet for these videos.

A much cleaner base-install would be "apt install --no-install-recommends bspwm sxhkd ....". This would leave unnecessary packages (like lemonbar), unless you enjoy using them.

Try to disable vsync on picom.conf ( #vsync=true). Reload bspwm just super+esc i think. Thanks for video
