Using OBS. I add the webcam to a scene. then add that scene to another and add a filter of an image mask and add a png I make in gimp that is a 1080p image with just a black square with rounded corners. then change the mask to alpha mask in obs and bam

You don't need sudo/doas for chmod in this case.

Depends on the terminal but it's typically ctrl and - or = sometimes ctrl, shift, and - or = Hope that helps ;)

You have to have a program installed for taking screenshots and then add a keybinding in your sxhkd config. Bspwm is just a window manager nothing more. Sorry about the late response!
