This is so funny. Not the transfers or even the backyard bible story. It’s the comments. I grew up in a religion where to say stories like this one are frowned upon is putting it mildly. Ostentatious faith caused such approbation. When I finally went to college and met evangelicals, oh goodness it was so cringy. I could barely sit through these kind of salvation stories. I’m swiftly approaching little old lady status and I just do not think I am ever going to get past the idea that one does not discuss such ideas in public.

rtd, Thank you for sharing, it is amazing how our personal history shapes us. Your words remind me of a story that happened just this week. Did you notice at the very end of the video, Elle, Hayley and myself dancing in front of the truck? Our truck sits on the corner of a very busy highway) We needed to film the last scene of the video but it was too dark to film inside and the sun was setting. I told Elle, " let's go film out in front of the truck" Elle said, " dance on the highway? that's embarrassing! " These words came out of my mouth before I could even think about it.... "Embarrassment is a thing of the past. " I spent most of my life being chained to embarrassment. Today I know it is time to take a stand for what is in my heart, to love others and my God without apology. We all have different views, a different experience. My prayer for you is simply a life of true freedom filled with joy and peace.

@rtd1791 I truly hope with the Lord that you too are redeemed from this stronghold I feel is working against you. Whether it be from being shut in with catholic beliefs or being caught up in an overzealous abundance pastor...there IS a happy medium and I hope you hear, accept and adhere to the Good News, the gospel, before you/we pass. I pray this for you and that God help the scales be lifted from your/our eyes.

@KeeKeeDavis why would you think why would you think she was talking about the Catholic faith? She mentioned “ostentatious faith” have you seen a Catholic Church during the holidays? Have you seen a old Catholic Church? We have beautiful stained glass windows & beautiful, glorious decorative Churches that many faiths including the Protestant Church of King Henry the 8th thought the Catholic Church was too “ostentatious”. While we do not go door to door evangelizing, we do still discuss faith in public, have classes & have faith groups. We don’t just go to church & scurry home alone without speaking or looking at each other.

@@DebisDesignDiary I loved your story !! I also went to a Bible study camp one summer . We lived right next to a church & they asked my brother & I & I loved it !! We did what u did crafts & learned about our JESUS!! I have seen A LOT from the LORD as far as the supernatural goes. I’ve walked up to heaven on Jacobs ladder with hundreds of angels and out of all my experiences that’s my fav! And I threw out being embarrassed after I graduated high school & moved to Vegas! Can’t live life to the fullest always being embarrassed & shy. I am the total opposite of those two words & I speak about my JESUS whenever I feel like it. I get what she is talking about tho I do know those types of ppl and hey to each his own . It’s unfortunate tho she obviously thinks all Christians are the same & our LORD is stuffy & boring . HE IS NOT! HE IS AMAZING!!

🌺. Beautiful Amazing & the Story is Always my Favorite Part of every Video. I grew up in a broken Family everyone was divorced. Never went to church. Always felt left out. Your stories are so touching & make me cry “A Good Cry “ It was life changing to hear your story about “ THE CHOSEN “ OMG……. LIFE CHANGING. I HAVE WATCHED THE CHOSEN MORE TIMES THAN I EVEN KNOW. 🙏❤️. Although I still have many questions & don’t know what Church I should attend. I have the Chosen to feel my heart with love, hope, & peace. Thank You Debbie 💞. I Love You 😘 💕 🙏 ❤️

You can test a piece of furniture with masking tape or artist tape before you start. put a piece of tape on the furniture and make sure you stuck it on well. If it comes off or begins to curl after a bit (give it an hour) then you need to break out some kind of grease cutter. Certain furniture polishes like Liquid Gold are basically a non-stick coating. Also if something like Armor all was sprayed in the same room with something, you will have problems with anything sticking. Waxes also can be a problem. If tape won't stick, de-grease first and you will save time and money even if you have to spend time initially.

Love your testimony. So great after seeing your story of the store and sleeping on the floor. Debi... you are fabulous!!! I totally love what you do and have my project ready. If you like, I will keep you posted on what I'm doing. I have a dresser (that I had been searching for everywhere, but, I found the one I wanted by accident at one of my real estate listings) -- I was just supposed to trash everything from the squatters, but this dresser cried out to me!!! It is serpentine and has everything... dove tailed drawers and smooth open and closings. It will be a bathroom vanity with molds and transfers. However, I am considering putting an epoxy on the top around the vessel. Your videos are the best and you inspire me. I'm 55 years old and love learning new things!!

So interesting- the same exact thing happened to me using ‘ Little Black Dress’ and the exact same IOD transfer. It was my first time using the IOD transfers and I thought, surely it shouldn’t be so hard for the transfer to adhere. In the end, after intense elbow grease, I got all of it on and used your wax over everything. If that happens again, I’ll try the Salvation Solution, which I have. So very strange and wondered if I had a faulty transfer!
