I cant get over the accuracy of your brush stokes, your'e a true artist so talented. Thanks for showing skin tones although even with the tutorial I know it will be a lot harder than it looks to get the right colours let alone such brush work. brilliant can't get over it.

Don't worry I also wasted a lot of oil paint, then acrylic but in my last try I think I got the skin tone right. Red, yellow and white worked for me with little bit blue (just a tiny bit) for darker shades.

i personally like acrylic or gouache or temper paints more. they are easier for using for me. i know that oil painting might look much better, thats why i have decided to go out of my comfort zone and use oil as well. i think artist should be able to paint with every kind of paints. its good for you, your skill level and knowledges in art. the texture of paints is different but it makes you feel better to know how to work with that. so dont be scared, just try, paint everything you want in a way how do you want, and one day you become great in it. just search. search your paints, your techniques and methods

Inspirational to watch, and very effective result. I'm just wondering, do you use the acrylic neat or do you add water to it, and do you wait for each layer to dry or blend them all while wet (I find doing the latter tends to just pull off the underlying layers!).
@DebojyotiBoruahArt
@DebojyotiBoruahArt 7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your appreciation 🙏 I just use plain water mist spray to keep my paint moist. Yes I do layering. Let the first layer a bit dry before applying the second one.

Very informative. Many other art channels emphasize that we should avoid blending and use brush strokes instead. I have found that difficult to adhere to, but maybe it was because they were using oils and I use acrylics. Is that the difference, do you think?
@DebojyotiBoruahArt
@DebojyotiBoruahArt 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right. Painting methods of Oils and Acrylic are altogether different. If you are following a technique which is best in oil, may not suitable for acrylic. There is nothing wrong or right in a technique. It varies from artist to artist. Afterall end results matters. You may find my recent videos more interesting. Thank u for your comment. And good luck for your next project.👍

You are amazing! I am in awe. I am so inspired to paint like you someday. I am new to acrylics and have been mostly sticking to tutorials but the other day I tried my first portrait… and it was amateur (and that’s me being nice hahaha). I’d love my paintings to look more realistic. That’s my goal! Do you think if I practice enough I could eventually get to this level or is it more of a “You just have to have natural talent” thing? I am so impressed, seriously.

Your practice will lead to your GOAL one day. You'll develop your style naturally over time. I think with practice will help you more than just having a natural talent. Just keep painting. Wow... you have a incredible eye for art. I've always been a artist but not like you. I haven't always practiced. What advice would you give someone who's just starting out again. Do you always draw, what your going to paint?.

Hello, I am a beginner. I have a question, why do you use a hog round for the eyes? Is it your personal reason, or is that the best brush to use? I am asking because I don't want to go buy one and find out, you only used it because it was all you had, or something lol.
@DebojyotiBoruahArt
@DebojyotiBoruahArt 3 жыл бұрын
Nice question 👍 Using a fine detail brush usually leaves hard edges. A hog hair brush gives u that natural impressionistic uneven looks which I really want to preserve on my painting. Try it out once to feel the difference. Thank you and Have a nice day 😊🎨

Can you please tell me what kind of paper? And how do you frame your work? On a matt or behind glass?? I like to paint on canvas...but I have trouble with paint drying to fast and not being able to blend the paint as you did here in this video....I notice your brush is never overloaded with paint...how do you keep it wet enough to blend ...big problem for me...
@DebojyotiBoruahArt
@DebojyotiBoruahArt 2 жыл бұрын
Most suitable paper for acrylic is 400gsm acrylic paper. For this painting, I have used a 300gsm watercolor paper. You can frame your acrylic artwork like your watercolor painting if you paint on paper. For blending you need to spray water mist on your palette and the painting as well time to time. It will not dry for a long time. Good luck 👍

Don't let your paint dry on your brush. Clean them in between works is a good idea. Sometimes brush marks looks good in the painting. But if you don't want them, blend with a softer brush later with little water. Thank you so much for your comment 🙏😊
