Such a beautiful talent and interview. I love her music and was so pleased to find this. It was so awesome to sit and listen to her history and musical flashbacks. Thank you for the music Deborah.

'Man overboard' is an absolute killer & timeless track. Deborah's performances never fail to impress. Really interesting & entertaining interview.

What an awesome human being. Thank you Deborah for being so vulnerable and sharing some awesome stories. Amazing that despite all the success, it’s family that means the most to you ❤

What a great conversation. I rediscovered the songs about 6 mths ago, and they've not only held up but bloomed.

Jane interviews well, and Deborah Conway is a very interesting & articulate star to listen to. I was all set for her to sign my Book Of Life, from my seat relatively close to stage at Canberra's Street Theatre's Alex Sloan discussion, but had to go into emergency with a dangerous level of cellulitis kicked into my leg, courtesy zealous Flouriade ATC security chap, probably on too many gymnasium meds. So I was so sad missing The Street's theatre presentation & note to house of tickets, you don't spell her name 'Debrah'. I was honoured to catch both matinee & evening Australia Day Smith's Alternative performances of Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier. I can see why she considers this some of her greatest music because snippets she sang from Stories Of Ghosts were majestic & Willy's sonic guitaring, providing the edge or drum & bass rhythm of a whole band sound. Deborah's voice is still as vital as it was in her iconic Do-Ré-Mi days & cutting thrash punk delivery of Man Overboard. I reminded her that after my first 1985 arrival, on Live Aid Day (as per Bohemian Rhapsody movie), my ex & I 'discovered' her on the amazing Oz for Africa simultaneous TV warm ups & with our dear mutual friend, Michael Hutchence, who my ex, brother and I attended a private Marquee party with. I love what Deborah & Willy signed on my Stories Of Ghosts lyric book, "Chris, alive in 2023". They went on, through their Facebook & via my brother, Phil in London, to give me permission to use or edit the raw footage I shot in Smith's Alternative on Australia Day. My brother Phil, a great bassist & who composed a song on the Canberra Film Festival 2023 trilogy, died suddenly & coinciding with a Heathrow meeting that was going to then become a huge London birthday celebration. He loved Deborah's & Willy's Smith's Alternative faultless & sold out gigs & my all important reconciliation scene in the Canberra Film Festival trilogy. Sadly, Smith's was somewhat oppressive in the big Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice Constitution vote build up & most of my big Aboriginal artist friends and even their Elders' families & ancestors voted no. I was all set as a yes man just as I left to finish my trilogy in UK and help bury my dear departed brother and console my sister from also losing a son to suicide, but on being continuously called a Colonial or Captain Cook to my face by respective & supposedly inclusive people, even other Poets and artists from Smith's &, certainly, all the bigots or hypocritical public servants who had never recognised or listened to anyone about 'their' injustices of the past, because they're too busy already culling seniors' ideas of any future or trying to legislate all in their path, young, old, indigenous & all multicultural. Well, Deborah, my late brother thanked you and Willy for your artistic faith and I thank you for the part in my film that swung its surprise people's choice UK street award. Love Chris Simon.

That's an interesting story but it's quite sad about Deb's politics recently in lieu of the Gaza war. She's lost alot of fans but not me as I can seperate the art from the individual and always knew she was that rich Jewish girl from Toorak. 😎 Do Re Mi were an awesome band.
