Today, I ALSO used a 5.5" Xzone Swammer with an Owner Flashy Swimmer!!!👊🏻 Great minds think alike!🤔😁 My variation to what you used was the going with the Perch color 5.5" Swammer, and using a 3/8 oz. 6/0 Flashy Swimmer. I switched the blade to a copper willowleaf to match my murky water. IT IS SO EFFECTIVE!!!🎣

I would have taken the blade off the flashy swimmer you could always put it back on. They are designed to be replaced so do come off lol. Love those paddle tails. I've had issues with my diawa tatula 100s they need oil more often than my other reels and brands.

I always liked using Keitechs, but the Swammer has grown on me. I use the small ones on finesse swim jigs and like how they roll side to side.

Argh! I thought of a useful comment after my silly guess the movie quote comment: I really like to Texas rig the Swammer to reel steadily through grass when even a swim jig is catching green stuff. It's also a more subtle presentation than the swim jig. Too much speed can make it wash out and turn on it's side, though. This Summer I'll try something like the Keitechs with the dual density plastic. Maybe that will help.

Debo the underspin is my go to summer lure. It’s one of my favorite baits. I always use a 4/0 with a blue gill colored Keitech swim bait. 😄

bought these because they were 50% off last year. WOW! these 4 inchers have caught me 3 nice size pikes last week and a PB walleye of 62 cms. Im going to buy some 3 inchers for smallmouth and smaller walleye as well as some 5.5 for larger pike. Any experience with the 5.5?

Try Quantum reels. They are a lot better than Diawa and Shimano. Especially their spinning reels.

Let me rephrase, they aren’t a lot better but they are better and they are a little cheaper. The $40 Quantum drive is far better than the $50 Shimano Nexave and a little better than &50 Diawa Revos. And I love the Revos.
