70s and naders yesterday... 30s and snow today... mother nature hates us. The Ticklerz have been one of my favorite Ned baits. I also had a lot of luck on the Bang Stickz last year. Definitely glue the weights in. Watch the hook hole too. It can tear out on a cast. I started using an oring with them to be safe. Those Santone jigs are legit!! The 5/16 will compliment the 3/8 War Eagles nicely.

Went pond bank fishing today and hammered them on a flat side crank bait red craw color and the jackhammer mini chatter bait in fire craw with Missile Mini D Chunk trailer in Lava Craw. Breezy day with sun then clouds with a incoming front.

For a DIY underspin, I've started simply taking a blade+swivel+snap and snap it onto the jighead (without too thick of a hookkeeper) before threading the plastic on securing everything in place. Similarly when using a EWG hook, I just "hang" a swiveled blade (or even with a snap to take it on/off easier) onto the bend of the hook.

I use swimbait heads with screw keepers a lot when I fish in SoCal for Calico bass and it keeps the swimbaits a little less torn. But in freshwater, it helps a lot with keeping baits intact

I always try to bring up the santone Texas finesse jigs on your lives when I can make them lol... If you like the war eagle heavy finesse your going to like them I use the 5/16 in "Kathy's blue gill" and I think "Ray bobs special" is the other color I've had good luck on, here in East Iowa. I use the little fuzzy beaver from riot baits for trailer but those smaller rage craws look good too! Good luck and God bless

I love the Okashira screwheads when the bass are schooled or busting on bait fish. I had a 6 fish day last year on one of those where every fish was over 4 lbs, some 5 and 6ers in there. Great super sharp hook on it too. Great haul as always Debo!

You really need to try the bloodworm color by Zman. It’s a really interesting color similar to the greasy prawn but it has small blue and red flakes in it. I think the bugz and the crawz both come in that color too. I want to focus on bed fishing more too!

I use the Mister Twister Curly Tail with the Spinner pretty small. I really like the step up to a Gem Blade Spinner Bait and also the Bassman Spinner Bait 👍 I'm going to be looking for some for the tackle box.😊

I'm going with the dt4 as my favorite out of the bunch. I'm a sucker for a shallow diving crankbaits though most of my spots are in the 426 ft range I only fish one lake that is 20 plus feet deep

I really like those compact spinnerbaits. Both of those look really good. I’ve always preferred an R bend instead of a closed eye just in case the bait rolled on the line in mid cast. It theoretically would straighten itself out, letting the knot slip, but a closed eye bait cannot. I read that in an old Bassmaster magazine from 30 years ago. Oh, and those Bertha bass are known as Big Sally whenever I catch one. LOL!

Last year I bought out my local dicks with what they had on the shelf with zman stuff when it was buy one get one free for a few weeks in a row I have loads and loads of those craws and zman plastics my issue with them is still rigging them up if I don’t have a keeper on whatever terminal I use it’s just a waste but I am still learning so hopefully I’ll get it someday

I’m new to bass fishing and I was wondering what’s the best all around spinning rod and reel size for any lure from senko to topwater

Depends what your trying to spend. All around rod the medium heavy st croix mojo would be tough to beat. Going run ya about 140. Others you might consider would be a dobyns or a falcon. If that to much to spend prob ought to grab ya a ugly stick. Things are legit for the money. As far as reels I personally like the Lew's company. Not a huge fan of their rods but the reels are top of the line. Second option on reel would prob be a daiwa they make several good spinning reels.
