Debra Mixon Holliday | COMMUNITY CORNER

We visited Debra Mixon Holliday Art's studio to learn about her creative process and get a sneak peek of her newest collection of collagraphs titled "Once Around the Sun"☀️
Using a traditional printmaking technique, Debra celebrates the flora and fauna of North Florida to share her passion for the native environment and connect viewers to the wildness we still have around us. Each image represents a month in the calendar year to interpret the places and living creatures we can experience in the area.
With an Arts For All grant award provided by the St. Johns Cultural Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, Debra was able to create a greater body of work in a much larger format than she has in the past.
