I teach Sociology of Drama to an undergrad class and equally, use a lot of sociological approach in my film analysis. Watching this video just renewed me...beautiful lecture.

Theory in science or "scientific theory'" is a hypothesis that has been backed by evidence. A hypothesis being a idea with a stated cause and effect. I think the word theory shouldn't be confused with the term or word 'idea'.

I just want to straight-up disagree about your way of looking at physics. big bang theory is nowhere close to the base theory of physics. there are big bounce and big crunch theories. the closest one to what you're saying would be string theory, but there is a few of them, that explain different phenomenas.
