Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; get your money (as much as you can) out of the housing market and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.

What does Lyn believe to be the probability of a major oil price spike? I think oil is going lower not higher. If something did kick off in the Middle East to cause oil to spike then it would likely go far into triple figures but as quickly as it shot up it would severely collapse probably to even lower levels than before it started.

The chart showing gold vs bitcoin vs s and p 500 at the end of your video SURELY is off or misleading. Gold and the s and p are up about 33% since january 2023 but bitcoin is up over 300% since january 2023. However that chart shows them rising in value in almost equivalent ratios.

2000 and 2008 were of course notable interim financial crashes but we can anticipate that the next will be secular in nature (e.g. 30's and 70's) because central banks drove short rates to zero for years and they won't be able to foment an even more extreme financial mania by driving short rates to new nominal lows this time. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... Even if they activate it for political reasons, it's going to be suspended again because the government spending will go on and on or have a default. That is not going to happen.
