80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large $5m stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.

I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.

Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.

I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Do you think these assets you just mentioned are safe buys to outperform the market this year?

For me. I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery. Or hire a good market strategist.

It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I agree, my profit has been consistent no matter the market situation, I got into the market early 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me so I sold off, got back in Dec 2020 this time with guidance from an investment adviser that was recommended by a popular economist on a subreddit, long story short, its been 2years now and I’ve gained over $850k following guidance from my investment adviser.

We avoided stagflation. Normally, typically, fed raising rates to suppress inflation would cause a recession. Which would leave growth at the bottom of range. And fed would have to cut rates to bring growth up again. But we avoided that. To be near 3% growth and 3% inflation with a 5% ffr rate ensures no stagflation.

He's predicting inflation starting to rise again this quarter while leading indicators showing economy slowing (not to mention governm*nt figures pumped up for the election). Global economy very weak which affects US. Fed dropping rates 0.50 shows they're VERY worried about financial downturn/crisis. interest rates coming down are also an indication banks are LESS willing to loan money into existence. The question here is where is the inflation going to come from in the near term? Consumers are mostly tapped out which is 70% of US economy (consumption). Yes inflation very likely to return but not before it continues to come down. Government deficit spending (as a percentage of GDP) already at wartime levels so they're unlikely to be able to increase that in the near term, especially since people still upset about recent inflation (monetary debasement).

I don't think he has any special insight into inflation coming back, he's just in that camp, that's where he placed his chips. Personally I'd be pretty suspicious that thinking is just recency bias. The usual suspects people cite for where inflation is supposed to come from are government deficits (maybe and very nuanced), mid east oil shock (maybe), trump tariffs (maybe). Most supposed sources of CPI style inflation though are a little tenuous to connect to asset performance besides maybe bonds, with the caveat that if the US debt situation worsened the fed would support the Treasury market anyway and QE. It all starts to get very complicated with people assuming 4 moves ahead. Some of this guys takes just seem like complete bullshit to me though. Like that oil prices would be higher without middle east drama? That's some mental gymnastics.

A similar thesis emerged among investors in 2007, just before the Global Financial Crisis (GFC). In September 2007, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 50 basis points, leading to a spike in the 10-year Treasury yield due to rising inflation expectations. Inflation concerns quickly became a dominant media narrative. However, when the 2008 recession took hold, investors were forced to shift their base case from inflation fears to deflation concerns. This pivot led to a sharp decline in both stock prices and bond yields, while bond prices surged as a flight to safety ensued and I think this is what we’re going to see in 2025.

Rising yields are not due to inflation resurgence or fiscal doom. It's mostly market manipulation by Druckenmiller and company. Yes, eventually bond yields will blow up in a few decades, but not any time soon. In the short term, we'll see election hangup, flight to safety, economy slow down, stock market dip, boomer repositioning, TLT at 110 by year end, possibly triggering a bond short squeeze with a substantially higher peak.

First, The reason why gold is going up so much is because a yen carry trade, sell yen, buy dollars, and use the dollars to buy gold. Its all a big trade, every algo is running the same trade. A huge momentum trade. There is no narrative that needs to be attached to it. Second, the reason why bonds are going higher is Drunkenmiller stating he is short bonds on Oct 2nd. Bonds then sold off immediately. Why would he tell everyone his trade? He needs the trade to work in his favor and he needs liquidity to close out his position and he wants the algos pickup (yen carry trade) on the trade so that is moves into his favor. He is not telling you his position because he is nice. Clearly market manipulation! The yen carry trade control huge portion of the market direction right now.

Higher taxes will not save the country. Higher taxes result in less revenue being spent in our economy by American citizens. Less revenue means less production, less goods and services HIGHER cost of living. Equates to less money going into our economy. This results in an economic depression. Higher Taxes = Kills Economies… Higher taxes kills or communities. Higher taxes kills small business. Globally, 90% of the businesses are small and account for 50% of the jobs. In the USA 99.9% of the businesses are small. 98% have fewer than 100 employees and 89% have fewer than 20 employees, with small business jobs accounting for 46.8% of the jobs in the US. Small business employees 61.2 million Americans. Small business is our Economy!! It’s time everyone took off your rose colored glasses. No budget cuts to speak of coming from DC. No budget cuts to speak of coming from either presidential candidate. This is a joke. It’s a cruel joke played upon tax paying working Americans.

Gold, BTC, quality global stocks, yes, however not property, if the U.S. dollar gets hyperinflation everything becomes worthless in that country, only global assets survive. Yes assets will go up against the U.S. dollar, however the U.S. dollar would become worthless compared to other currencies or global assets. As for property in the U.S, property is a national fiat asset, it would go up in value against the U.S. dollar, however not in other currencies or global assets. .. Anyone feeling the impact of these economic shifts should consider Crypto long-term trading strategies to protect their assets. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 520k from day trading with Sandy Barclays in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

Over the years, I've been a part of numerous trading programs, sifting through a barrage of information. Yet, nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of Sandy insights. It's akin to finding a diamond in a coal mine.

The second I hear someone say "the Fed doesn't know what they are doing", I instantly discredit them. The group that control the economic landscape around the world and ultimately affects every person on this planet knows exactly what they are doing. They have a goal in mind and will accomplish that goal, whether it aligns with how retail investors perceive it or not.

Wow! A Kool Aid drinker. Ever hear of Ron Paul? What has the Fed done to make my purchasing power increase? Nothing! Even Greenspan never retracted his essay called Gold and Economic Freedom.
@alphabear4546
@alphabear4546 Ай бұрын
@donmarek7001 I agree with you, but what if their goal was to have more inflation, not less. Bernanke stated this was the issue in Fed papers years ago. Just saying, don't ever this the Fed is a bunch of idiots. Whatever they want to accomplish, they will.
@donmarek7001
@donmarek7001 Ай бұрын
@@alphabear4546 The Fed has certainly been a failure since it was supposedly created to temper the issues with private banking. Now, because the reserve requirements are so low along with their constant inflation for over a 100 years now, we are now to the point where some bank failures are a real possibility. The FDIC does not have enough reserves to cover a number of bank failures at one time. How have I benefited from the Federal Reserve?
@alphabear4546
@alphabear4546 Ай бұрын
@donmarek7001 I wish the Fed didn't exist, but they do and will never go away. Everything you are saying is true. At this phase in the dollar as the world reserve currency, where debt is out of control, their goal is to keep the demand for bonds. Their last concern is us. They will do whatever is need to keep the demand for US bonds above other countries. It will eventually all come crashing down, but we are insignificant.

They're better investment strategies than moving to all cash waiting to deploy. Follow the S&P 500 by investing in ETFs like VOO, SPY, and SCHD. Dollar-cost averaging into these ETFs will likely outperform most investors.
