Hey Noma! Heads up: on the app when looking at the payments, if you click on the last payment of the month it gives you a ‘running balance’ which will give you the remaining balance at the time of the transaction… thought it might help you not have to do so many calculations 😊 love your channel ❤

@@LifeGuru16 oh, it’s a lot. 300,000 sounds like a house, so in US Dollars this amount 17k is like a car. Any unexpected amount is a setback. But it isn’t an amount people should come after her for. When my car broke and they wanted US $5000 (Over R87,000) for a ten year old car. I had to bite the bullet and get another car when I hadn’t saved anything for it. Money is personal. I don’t make a lot in this country compared to others so I totally understand.

I had a loan of 100k from FNB, and that CPP annoyed me so much because I was never told about it. So when I got to a balance of about 60k I settled it with my Credit card so that I can pay at the aggressive pace of my choosing and not have to deal with that CPP.

Apologies for my unsolicited advice. 24% is really high, if you have a home loan with equity. You do have option to with withdraw it to pay off that debt. Home loans usually has way less interest
