Great episode as usual. I agree on all the points and always learning from this podcast. Just one comment... @15:55 It is possible to automate the payment in full every month, even if you have 10 cards. You arrange it with your bank and they will set it up. No issue managing multiple cards.

Too many cards can lead to confusion keeping track etc. I have one card and can be petty chill whereas my friend with multiple cards and multiple banks is usually somewhat flustered and reallly doesn't get to enjoy his time off ot seems to me

Absolutely. All the time. But I pay all my cards off each month, so all I see (apart from selling my soul/personal info) is upside.

It’s a upside for you but you forgot about the person your buying the goods from. Debit charges a percentage of the transaction to the store 1.5% of the transaction, credit cards charge the store even more 3%-5%. If you are shopping at a small business the best way to support them is to pay in cash

@@michaeldhondt368 I pay cash at small businesses, and you are right to mention this. Just back from supporting my local fruit stand and baker….paid cash! I also get a discount from them because I’m pretty sure that cash doesn’t always make it into the till. 😀

@ always use cash with small businesses: butcher, baker, fruit and veg store etc.

Hi guys, I think the issuing bank and not the credit card receive the interest payments, as they hold the debt. The credit card brand is more like a transaction broker.
