This don’t make sense Most credit cards don’t give points for rent payment , school fees payment or insurance or tax filing etc So basically they will give points for just basic daily usage and getting a fancy card will simply make us to spend more money on something which we would have not spent on first place. So all these points and all is a scam. Expect for very less people who spend a lot for their travels and etc for them it might be worth for others it’s just a way to go broke.

Here, Assume if a common man accumulated the points where they can spend in a luxurious hotel for free. But the person has to spend lot if money other than hotel stay at luxurious hotel. But yeah once in a lifetime one can experience. But if you consider only money point of view definitely not worthy.

I’m a Baniya. And from my perspective….whatever you’re spending on your credit card is taxed white money. (You get your salary in your account only after the tax is deducted). So when you spend ALREADY TAXED rupees. You’re just breaking capital. That’s losing 30% on every rupee that you spend coz you’ve paid tax for that xyz amount already. Where you can just pay cash and lose 0% of the taxable rupee there.
