I think they changed it . So that you have to start as a professional seller and you have to change it after making that $40 payment

I’m in the US and it did the same thing for me. I had to sign up with the professional account and then downgrade it to the individual immediately. You can always downgrade or upgrade whenever you want. Or if you have the professional account but don’t sell anything for a few months you can contact customer support and they’ll refund you that membership cost for the months you didn’t sell anything.

GS1 now allows you to buy 1 barcode which is way cheaper than the previous (around 30 dollars), there also isn’t an annual renewal fee if you buy the 1 barcode.

Finally, someone who cleared up on a tutorial just how many bar codes you need. That you only need one for an individual product. Only question is, do I need a different barcode for different variations of the same product? LIke one for white, one for blue, etc. one for Large, one for small, etc.?

It says my product is listed and active but when I click on the product and it take me to the amazon page displaying the main photo of my product , it says product is currently unavailable? not sure why? even though I've noted that I have 6 that I want to ship directly???

You can use jungle scout or helium 10 to find out which products sell best in different categories and you’ll be able to see their profit on those products as well

I optimized my listing to and added keywords like - Wooden Puzzles for Kids , Educational Products for 2 year old etc in title and bullets etc. Even after having these in exact phrase form in title, I am not indexing for it. But I am indexing for some other phrases like Wooden Toys for Kids. Very confused on how to index for relevant words even after having it in front end. So three bar codes all together? I noticed you used the same UPC number for the blue variant that you used when creating the parent.

Thanks! That’s true if they restrict other sellers from reselling their product. Otherwise, as long as you have brand owner approval to sell an existing, trademarked product you can sell it using their brand.
