All religions, including Christianity, African spirituality, Hinduism, and others, share common roots and symbols. Christianity isn't special, its history is tied to ancient cultures. Hinduism's Vedic period, around 1500 BCE, introduced Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, three gods in one. Similarly, Egyptian mythology had Osiris, Isis, and Horus, around 2400 BCE, representing creation, preservation, and destruction. The Mithraic cult also influenced Christian rituals like baptism and communion from 1st century BCE to 4th century AD. Christianity isn't more factual or superior to other faiths. It's just one of many spiritual traditions sharing human experiences and values. African spirituality deserves equal respect and recognition for its rich heritage. Thank you for this video. The plurality of God has been something I’ve been questioning myself. As Christian’s we “claim” to worship only one God, who by the way has a triune nature. In Deuteronomy 6:4 we are told that God is one, “Hear, Oh Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one”, but in Genesis 1:26, God says “Let us create man in our image, after our likeness. Who is the “us” that God is talking too, and whose image we bear? And Jesus we are told is God and the one-third of the Godhead, but he is seen in Matthew 27:46 praying to his “God” “My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me”. The author of Philippians 2:6 does not say that Jesus is God or a God, but that he being in the “form of God” did not consider it robbery to be equal with God. And God in Hebrew “Elohim” is the plural form of God. I guess mine is that the plurality of God as a Christian is something I’m studying and would love to have some questions answered. Anyways Good content as always.

I can safely say that us humans don't really know what's going on. I've concluded for now that there trylly is a system of good and bad. Every religion in the world is false. Religion pits brother against brother in the claim that one is the true religion against other. Wars, destruction, slavery, colonization, coups, tribalism, xenophobia, racism, prejudice, superior complex, manipulation etc. as the list is long are social ills that come religion. As much as most religions breed in life/soul , positivity and doing good unto others but it doesn't take away that a lot of people had died because of religion and to an extent are still dying even today. I apologize if this is received distastefully but it breaks my heart each time I see people arguing about spiritual elements that have no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion, whilst people forget that belief is personal and subjective because it is an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially without proof.
@giftmaseko34112 ай бұрын
"Oh, of course, without religion, the world would’ve been a perfect utopia with no wars, greed, or prejudice. Clearly, human nature, power struggles, and tribalism had nothing to do with it. Peace and grace unto you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I watched this video and felt like it would be wrong of me not to comment here, if Joshua Maponga was a brother in Christ I would have tried to contact him privately as the Word of God instructs us and the fact that you mentioned we should pray for him made me understand the purpose of the vision I received about this man. I fell into a deep sleep just after my late night prayers not so long ago, I would say around the 20th of September last month and I saw myself struggling to come out of a thick forest of "impepho"(it's a plant that is commonly used in traditional rituals especially African witch doctors). I looked behind me in order maybe to go back where I had come from because I couldn't see in front of me anymore, the strength of this impepho bush like forest was to strong for me to move even an inch forward and the smell of impepho was so present I could even taste it. So when I looked behind me I saw Joshua Maponga and I said oh yeah I remember you, aren't you the one who normally preaches to bring people into Christianity and he said "I move them away from Christianity". So at this point our bodies are in a crawling position like soldiers, then Maponga passes me and digs even deeper for us to now go even further into this impepho bush, let me say to a point of no return. Immediately Holy Spirit wakes me up and as I was praying to rebuke any evil covenant made during this encounter, Holy Spirit started talking to me because I thought my spirit was still trapped there. Holy Spirit said Joshua Maponga is leading people into worshiping the dead and somehow I felt sorry for him because I'm pretty sure most probably there is a spirit that is influencing him but I was just too sceptical to pray for him at that moment because I was focusing on my spirit that I thought I need to pray for "against his spirit" but now that you mentioned we must pray for him I feel bad. I think God showed me this vision so that I may pray for him because I'm sure that Jesus will never send me anywhere without protection. Thanks for approaching this in a Godly manner or else I would've not been comfortable to share my vision or knew what to do. May our LORD Jesus keep you sensitive to God's will and I will also start praying for Joshua Maponga.

Hebrews 6:4-6 [4]It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, [5]who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age [6]and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace."

My brother I love what you are doing. The minute he talked about "connecting cables" to "the creation".... I saw how much he has drifted away from the proper biblical teaching. "Connecting cables" means "intermediaries" that are worshipped and the fact that they are connecting us to "Creation" tells us that Africans are not only polytheistic but also pantheistic.... Keep on my brother with what you are doing ❤ # Gal 1:8

Something to research is cannibalism (Cannibalism refers to Canaan+Baal... priests of baal...... Speak about geneologies right😮)..... a reason why YHWH came with the offering of animals rather than the eating of human flesh. You will be shocked how prevelant this practice is still today. Shalom.... God bless ur ministry❤

God of the living meaning those who believe in him , that is why Jesus is called the Truth , the Way and the Life. Meaning your soul has been saved through his mercy and salvation. The dead meaning those who's souls are taken by sin. ❤

I think that we should stop calling him a “Bishop” Maponga. I think we should call him “Mr” Maponga because he is disqualified as to the requirements for a Bishop
@keobakilemahura48902 ай бұрын
Disqualified by who?
@ledwinmampho18612 ай бұрын
By the bible. There is no Bishop in African spirituality or traditions .The word is only found in the bible. And it is atributed to someone who is a leader of a church.
