As someone who has arthritis in my joints in my fingers, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, and toes I agree that it's a myth that cracking your joints doesn't give you arthritis. I do it to relieve any of the stiffness or pain in my joints. I've had arthritis since I was 6 and am now 26.

I had my appendix BURST in Jan 2014. I was in pain for a few days but wrote it off as a stomach ache. It finally got to the point where I was moaning in pain and called my doctor. They had me go to the clinic to get a blood test, and that test showed my white blood cell count was off the charts. After that they gave me IV fluids and told me to go to the hospital for a CT scan ASAP. With that CT they confirmed it was appendicitis. The funny thing is, they didn't remove it then and there. They instead put me under to install tubes to drain the infection out of my abdomen and put me on antibiotics. It wasn't until MARCH that they finally did the appendectomy.

Just to put in my 2 cents about the Oxempic topic, my dad had to switch his medicine because his doctor couldn’t keep it in stock and this new one seems more complicated. Oh and the doctors themselves are taking all the ones that get sent in for themselves to loose weight.

My aunt technically died because of appendicitis. Her appendix burst a few years ago and it caused organ failure and a bunch of other problems so her real cause of death wasn’t appendicitis, but it caused irreparable damage so for years she was on a long road to recovery but eventually her body just shut down and she passed away about a year or two ago. It’s definitely really scary and it has made me paranoid that the same will happen to me but now I try to forget about it, I’m not trying to manifest it for myself that would just be insane.

I got my appendix removed when I was 14. I woke up around 6am in pain, thinking it was bad period cramps. I got out of bed to make some tea but the pain worsened while I was vertical. I couldn't even finish making the tea, I got so nauseous and just felt REALLY off, maybe I was dizzy, too? I can't fully recall (I'm 31 years old now). But yeah, it was inflamed and dr said my parents brought me in just in time bc it could have burst if we delayed for any reason.Wild.

I actually had my appendix removed while I was in Colorado for a ski trip! It was my second day out of a 10 day trip. I was in a little ski town, with the nearest hospital 45 minutes away! I was on top of the mountain when the pain just kept getting worse and worse, So I went back to the hotel. After about 3 hours, we called the “on-call” doctor and he told me to take pepto bismal… after 5 excruciating hours after that, my family decided to call the ambulance. It took an hour to get to me, and an hour and a half to get to the hospital (it was DUMPING SNOW). When I arrived to the hospital I noticed there was only seven beds in the whole place. SEVEN HOSPITAL BEDS IN THE WHOLE HOSPITAL!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god everything went well, but for the rest of the trip while everyone was skiing I was stuck in the hotel room, hehehe So yeah… They seem to get infected at really inconsiderate times lmao.

@@miktalksshit9705 Hi :) I have worked for a chiropractor for over 4 years and thought I’d give my input if you’d care to read! The videos you see on the internet are NOT what chiropractic is about. The crazy movements and contortions they put patients in to make a “crack” sound is not the goal of chiropractic care. Does cracking and popping happen? Sometimes. But chiropractic is about making targeted, small, and gentle spinal adjustments to align vertebral subluxations so your brain can communicate correctly with the rest of your nervous system. A vertebra that is out of alignment can be putting pressure on a nerve causing that poor communication. A pinched nerve can cause pain or poor overall bodily functions. I’m not saying it’s a miracle and it’s not a “quick fix.” My suggestions to you are: Find a chiropractor that uses a gentle approach Make sure they are a D.C (Doctor of Chiropractic) Find a doctor that takes X-Rays! To see is to know! To not see is to guess. Your X-Rays will show you exactly WHERE your vertebra is out of alignment (even millimeters can effect the communication within your nervous system)! Consultations are so important. They should absolutely be at no charge to sit down and talk with the doctor of a clinic and ask questions to see if chiropractic care is right for YOU and what you need treatment for. Also a great way to see if you trust that doctor! Everyone has a different approach to chiropractic care and it’s important you find the doctor for you :)

In Oct 2020 I started having what I thought was bad period cramps. I worked all day and then finally the next morning wasn’t feeling better so went to urgent care. They made go to the ER bc they thought it was my appendix. They did a CT scan and confirmed my appendix had ruptured. It was too inflamed to take out so my dr put a drain bag in for a week and I was on antibiotics. And then in December I went to have it taken out. 😅

I got mine at 22 and only pay $17/ month for $1,000,000 term insurance. My husband is a financial advisor (Kevin Hook, Thrivent Financial 😜😂) and he’s shown me the charts that determine your rate. Chiropractor supporter, been adjusted since I was a baby. My dad is a Chiropractor, and could have been a physician due to the schooling he had. They disect people like doctors do. They aren't anti science, not the good ones, cause they have to go to school to be a doctor. My dad is not anti Vax either, I've got my vaccinations, he had his vax. Being adjusted since I was young helped with a curve in my spine, and as I've gotten older and threw out my back, has helped me heal faster and be able to move. I mess myself up a lot, I'm clumsy. I once took a hard fall and hurt my ankle. The hospital wouldn't help me, said my x-rays would take a week. My dad had an xray machine and found a hairline fracture and got me set up with crutches a week before my doctor agreed I needed an air cast and crutches. There are boards in adjustment tables but it's not for special effects. The tables are designed to give against pressure to assist with the adjustment, and they're just loud. You can hear the cracks in your body vs the sounds of the table and distinguishing them is easy. You can also be adjusted without a table. There are two big chiropractic schools, one teaches chiropractic in a classic way, the other has churned out people who call them selflessness chiropractors but who are scammers. So I'll give you that some are, but honestly disappointed to hear you all say it's a scam when it is something that helps a lot of people who are suffering. My dad used to adjust a young girl who is wheelchair bound. When he adjusted her, she could stand a little, she had so much relief from her pain. Oh and they do lean holistic but I don't see why taking vitamins that help you is being frowned on. My dad always knows what I should take to help me get better faster than I will with meds that don't help body. He agrees with taking pharmaceutical meds when you need the meds. Like, I take thyroid meds, he'd never say I should go holistic meds he knows I need what I take. They get bad reputations but I also know Erin and Carly have seen a chiropractor so I'm just disappointed in the blanket judgement. But it is the myth episode... are you trolling me?

As a vegan... I have to say, it really doesn't have to be all or nothing. If you really feel like a 100% plant based diet isn't something that you can manage then even just decreasing your consumption of animal products can have a big impact overtime. Doing "meatless Monday" or eating vegetarian/vegan at home but not when you go out to eat, etc. Anything you can do is awesome!! I also have to say... I 100% have no issue getting my "nutrients" 😂 I've been vegan for 5 years and got my blood tested a couple years ago out of curiosity... even my b12 and iron levels are perfect sooo it's definitely no problem there, haha.

Also, get your life insurance NOW while your body is young and healthy and CHEAP rather than waiting until you're older (and closer to death) when it's more expensive.
